There are YT recommendations on how to prevent a free-wheeling aggressive dog from spooking bears and separating cubs from the mother bear leading to major disaster. Yeah, that bear will swipe right thru that chicken wire. Half-inch hardware cloth a much stronger deterrent. But you WILL need to electrify it. Perhaps selling eggs would help defray the cost.
