  1. Every children's story has embellishments and trickeration. The Abrahamic (Judaism, Catholicism, Christianity, Islam, Mormonism) all utilize "shtick" -- costumes, bells, music, incense, holy water, processions, blessings, etc., as theatrical play to wow the kids in attendance. The Vatican maintains special offices and staff to declare sainthood and miracles as they know making holy hullabaloo for even a single instance ("certification" of a miracle) goes a long way to hoodwink the credulous.
