i had about nine chickens and a racoon ate them all that cycle , i felt like if bad times hit people would take my chickens , already one neighbors dog goes into my yard to eat them and got a few before i figured that one ...i got food poisoning a little while back and the most depressing thing with the fever and no eating a few days , i felt about 20 years older within about a week , got better fast but darn..off grid is good imo prep until the compound gets blasted , taken over or requisitioned...
