  1. i was poor for so long now i can dissassemble most vehicles and repair on the side of the road if i had to , but it became like a curse , like the lawn mowers that keep losing parts but somehow i keep them going ...we finally got a newer car but i would never sign that many papers with fine print , the biggest headache imagineable , i think for building credit it's good to do , get a newer car good credit , pay a million over time for a 150K home ,,, still stupid EDIT: the bad thing when they use all the payments towards the interest so one gets nothing back on it anyway like rent

  2. I'm still trying to figure if a "lifetime" warranty is worth it . If i study it as a blanket statement it's not worth it because they make money and maybe a one or two out of ten ever use it , but they offer lifetime engine powertrain , with a "wrap around" covering all else besides normal wear like tires and brake pads , $100 deductible for life of vehicle seems like a good deal for me because all the bs features these days and funky electric crap ...(?)

  3. if it sits on the lot 5 years it'll be worth 40% original price...imo the entire warranty on a few is so companies buy them and sell at 30k miles for the same price by the time the bs sales guy is done

  4. really s*cks when they have a newer mercedes benz same price as the rest , trying to decide , but there's no warranty and the mirror motor might cost $3000 or a 6000$ suspension part could go out on it , i like the older MB, MB is the best car/suv but the older ones have no resale [better deal for mechanically inclined] and the older older ones were fully mechanical ....EDIT: just can't get the GL 350 out of m head for not going with it but I'll find an auction one later for much less

  5. that check engine scam is a total rip off, car like 10 years old the check engine will be on for something and always stupid and the electronics were made in vietnam on one of them , if i lived somewhere else the car would be in the junkyard or wherever they're supposed to go when they run great but have CEL all the friggin time even after $1500 new ECU ....

  6. should be able to write it off end of year as a loss for taxes , depreciation ...or start a dual rental company and rent them (?)
