...waiting for the thinset a second then i stir it a minute and trowel it on thick and 3/8" groove and bow bing pow porcelain tile from india floor on the hardieboard ...it's a lot of work but when it's done it's done and i got the entire back half of this place tiled across because it's a bathroom, closet, kitchen , kitchenette , another closet floor and another bathroom , classic tile ...i stir the thinset by hand because it keeps burning up drills using those ...God Bless
