i like metallurgy , knife making because it combines the all metalwork(edit: steps possible including heat treating) in one simple metal work, anyway cross-related with the fine steel and compactness of firearms, that makes a lot of sense so far along in vid, in that the scrap ak trunnions come with a chamber portion and a fraction inch rifled section of barrel pinned in , next many vendors ban "grenade launcher muzzle devices" for sales there so the cheap ak grenade spigot used on the ak with gas block feature on the gas block (on the front end the barrel)...surplus cheap , you need a bolt lock and somehow a reverse 14mm die i guess...lol hypotheticals turning , the mag and entire design lends itself to airgun design , im thinking big bore funny airgun stuff...anyway i bet it has a larger bore than the spigot muzzle device that has to have a grenade slid on and i imagine a blank maybe some design has steel tip and uses a normal bullet ....arrow barrel would be wild probably have to make special load of course , thanks for the cool breaktime vid(s) ...hope you're great, stay safe ...

...yeah dumb design because it strikes the grenade primer then fires the launching charge and if the shooter has a dud and tosses it , between 5 -1 grenades go off , maybe it's safer for fire one at a time near a big hole to drop it in incase a dud , it can't seal the spoon to the bore unless maybe it has a bigger barrel and a plastic wad cup, then the spoon would drop....i saw a diagram way back where the spoon has a triangular metal with a hole for a pin on two sides and the firing pin on the third side , it's flipped back and has a coil spring and held cocked like that by the spoon so when the pin is pulled nothing until the spoon drops, the coil spring pushes the triangular piece with the pin , it hits a primer that ignites the 5 second fuse....5 seconds is too long at close rnge so one milks the grenade by dropping the spoon, count to one thousand ,two thousand and throw the grenade....phew goodnight thanks edit: i am saying it's a normal grenade with no triangular piece or it's pin, coil spring and no spoon that holds it cocked so it's missing those and the cap exposed then was the point

they really solved or addressed every issue i have with the AR/m16 even 7:28 about , where the upper and lower open , has a thicker block rather than the take down pin , these points cause a wobble between the upper/lower imo from sling use mostly and the aluminum wears from the pressure , doesn't affect accuracy but it creates a loose fit and it wobbles side to side , also the bayonet use is stupid wear on the aluminum , wow , the buffer tube, the gas system and even that adressed , the sights it's a well thought out design imo ...I commented a few times about it but i had never seen all the details ...it's how I'd design one in theory but the actual design already engineered is very interesting , and exactly my thoughts on improvements to the M16 design from handling them...I sort of prefer the all steel AK but i never fired the 5.45 mm ....
