"the .45 takes a life the 10mm takes a soul" ...(the newer .45 rounds are faster and expand to .85 or 1.25" and have sharp claws on the jacket ....the frame slot on the slide release was added (instead of the slot hole previous according to good sources because the 10mm caused the frame to bend there, the shortened 10mm created the .40 s&w , tamer round supposedly for fbi females .../ranting

very nice write up I am on the second time reading it , seems very accurate , you could do a book or at least long article on it , thanks it's interesting chronology I've heard bits and pieces of and information I know about but more detailed

Guns make you more of a man and the more guns the more more of a man because you can loan them out if others need them and they would be saying you are the man if it saved their joody-cakes... 2 on it but also if you can't hunt then women won't say you are such a man when you have no food to provide and also if one wanted to argue whether guns make you more of a man they will always lose

2nd amendment allows you to own inferior firearms ...a boy does what he's allowed to , a man does what he wants

...also in the past people were concerned about over=penetration and hitting bystanders at higher velocity, they wanted a pistol range pistol and the target to retain all the energy , the real intent of hollow point rounds despite they're more effective on soft targets EDIT the lower or medium velocity is less wear on steel or less consistent steel as well , those +p /+P+ rounds will beat up a pistol faster still

random but cartridge related , I saw one of gun Jesus , (forgotten firearms iirc channel edit: "Forgotten Weapons" Here: https://youtu.be/8I8Mm7b1Esk?feature=shared , ) dunno the model itself was available cheap before the import bans but some very good improvement. direction on the Daewoo 5.56 and S. Korea had really addressed every issue I've noticed as an improvement to the M16 which they had been issued , it has no buffer tube stock for better ergonomics and folding or telescoping is possible , they used a different method of attaching the upper/lower more secure and it uses a piston rather than gas tube for the bolt to kick unlatched [edit: a few other "upgrades" or modifications that really made sense) , I was thinking an upper like that but possible to fit onto an AR-15 lower would potentially be a good seller or model to own ...

i was in a motorcycle accident and had pins sticking out of my foot once and was in a city hospital where two victims of a .45 shooting were being seen also , so the guy has been hit in his hand while running away and had pins out each knuckle or basically where his knuckles used to be because it blew them off and the woman was hit in her arm but it basically severed her arm by smashing the bone in the top of her arm , i was glad to be just my foot from the accident not like those two ...

I look at Bear Creek Arsenal , Palmetto State Armory (visited by President Trump himself once) , Midway USA , Davidson Defense ....at one point recently you could put together an AR for under $300 ....sort of dumb not to own one or a few ...

i consider the colt .45 acp thje auto version of the .45 long colt , i doubt it was "invented for shooting phillipinoes ... the .45 doesn't have much recoil in the detonics even . it's loud though louder than a 20 gauge ..the newer .45 auto rounds are closer to 1100+ fps and expand more and probably 230 grain or so is heavy enough to put a welt on something at slinshot speed or black powder it's probably minimal but the lower velocities are less wear on the gun imo and a while ago steel was junk too /ranting EDIT: the .357 magnum has more recoil imo, more snappy the .45 acp is a big cap gun or like smacking two 2x4s together it just takes care of business but not a magnum when you shoot logs and stuff they don't jump ...

.223 wylde splits the difference to chamber both I heard , just a between head spacing seems like (?) edit never mind it's at 12:30 about it ,

the brass causes the shell to glue in place temporary under pressure and it affects ejection timing [as far as thickness/thinness]

does stainless steel .223 wylde barrel hold up as long as the carbon steel I wonder ....(?)
