  1. tin foil is cheap , but the issue is humidity , for me I used foamboard so humidity was adressed differently so i added aluminum foil for the heck of it , like thermal mass mostly on the inner layer , but I add lots of textures and layers for sound in there , paint, thinset, concrete dust,...glad i did i will keep using it i horde mylar chip bags for the foil but those are plastic and keep food fresh in the bag ...i had suspicions about thermal or similar because one female cop always grins at me as if she wants some action too almost , i knew it ...
