Toyota has the most reliable CVT. Honda has had some transmission issues and they are weak
3
Unfortunately the rear seat is a little more cramped then the previous generation even though it looks a little bigger on the outside
3
Yes, it's a pity you can't get a sporty Corolla Hybrid since it's only the LE trim. Since Toyota treats the Corolla as entry-level, it is missing features that it's competition has
2
On the competion like the Civic some of those safety sense features are optional on the lower trims. Toyota is the only to make it standard across the board
2
@JJustinXu but what those who have older model Toyota's with Entunes 2.0? That's not fair we are stuck old technology. Toyota should have offer an upgrade to new unit for us have 2014-2018 model cars. I have a 2018 Corolla and want Android Auto
2
Toyotra said they wanted to make sure that Android Auto worked well before adding it to Entunes. They are too slow rolling it out. Every other car manufactures have it (except BMW) and not many people like Toyota's Entune system
2
But still not Android Auto and unfortunately those with old Toyota's are stuck with the outated Entunes 2.0 that won't get updated. Could we get the new Entunes 3.0 head unit in the older Toyota's model?
2
The Civic is a new designed as it was redesigned in 2016. The Corolla was last redesigned in 2014. Of those 5 cars, Corolla is the most reliable not that the Civic isn't reliable. That said, if you need basic, safe & reliable transporation, the Corolla is the best value.
2
The 2020 Toyota Yaris which a Mazda 2 has Android Auto & Apple CarPlay standard. Mazda even offered an update for 2014-2018 models and I am upset Toyota won't do the same. I WANT it on my 2018 Corolla which has Entunes 2.0, that Toyota refuses to update
2
The Corolla Hybrid replaces the Corolla LE Eco
2
You didn't mention the new features in Safety Sense 2.0 - Lane Trace Assist, Bicycle Deception and Road Sign Assist
2
The gauge is not as fancy as the digital gauges on the Volkswagen
1
It's still missing Android Auto, which Toyota is working out. At least is has the updated Entunes 3.0 and not the oudated Entunes 2.0 that some Toyota models still have
1
I don't know why Toyota decided to ditch the fog lamps on the Corolla. They got rid of with the 2017 refresh and replaced them with daytime running lights
1
but still missing Android auto
1
Ah that explains it. They have a new version of the CVT. The one in the 2017-2019 Corolla sedan worked well.
1
Honda Odyssey may have a better infotainment system with more high tech features, but the minivan is less reliable then Toyota's
1
still missing Android Auto that competitors have
1
Why isn't Blind Sport Monitoring standard? That is one feature that the Civic has that the Corolla didn't have
1
Unfortunately, those who older Toyota's with Entunes 2.0 won't get updated. I hate Toyota won't offer an update like Mazda did on 2014-2018 models making us stuck with the outdated Entunes 2.0
1
The new Corolla is on the new platform which is the same as the new Rav4.
1
The 2020 Toyota Yaris which a Mazda 2 has it. Mazda even offered an update for 2014-2018 models and I am upset Toyota won't do the same
