  1. My father had a 1986 Dodge Caravan SE that was red with black at bottom. Plymouth advertised it as the magic wagon. It is a van based on a car platform, so it operates more like a car then truck/van.

  2. yes, a mechanic says Chevy quality has fallen while Ford has gotten better. I'd trust Consumer Reports Magazine over JD Quality. Those Chevy commercials are a lie that says they are more reliable then Toyta, Honda or Ford.

  3. Air bags first came out in the 1990s. Today's cars are designed to do well in crash as they have to pass tough crash tests. In 2017, Toyota added Safety Sense package standard on all trim levels of the Corolla. As new technology comes out, cars are getting safer. However, we should not just relay on technology alone and need to drive safely.

  4. The 4 1/2 year old battery will not start in my '03 Camry this morning, probably because it's below freezing.  I found a battery at Advanced Auto Parts that has a CCA of 700 amps and CA of 875 amps and RC of 130 min. That sounds good, doesn't it

  7. We had a 1986 Dodge Caravan just like the one this video. I think the Chrysler van is the best. It was Lee Iacco that brought the minivan idea when he came to Chrysler after Ford fired him. The other car companies were rushing to make minivans to compete with Chrsyler, but they were not as good.

  13. I don't know why people don't connect their phone to their car's infotainment system via Bluetooth for hands-free calling and texting. You can also stream music via voice command depending if your car's system has that feature. Unfortunately, Toyota has refused to support Android Auto, but its Entunes system provides similar functionality. If you have an older car, you can easily add bluetooth by buying an accessory.
