  3.  @thomasackerman5399  Yes and the Marconi operator told the SS Californian to SHUT UP when they were trying to send an iceberg warning shortly before Titanic hit the iceberg as they were busy sending passenger messages. Since they were paid to send passenger messages, they didn't put iceberg warnings as priority and some never made it to the bridge
