  5. Majority of the tracks that Amtrak operates on is owned by freight. For example, much of the tracks on the east coast is owned by CSX. CSX has delayed VRE commuter trains as well. It seems CSX views its freight trains as a priority. They put them and Amtrak first over other trains

  6. Because they declared bankruptcy in Sep 2017, right before the holiday season, people didn't want to shop at Toys R Us that holiday season. Toy sales were already down that year. Another problem is that Toys R Us fell behind in technology.
