The only catch is that you have to be employed with certain employers to join the credit union. There are credit unions for the navy, arm y and military and those who work for the local government can join the local employee credit union and their family members can also be members of the credit union. Also, credit unions have access to allot more ATMs nationwide and are free to use. Credit Unions offer lower fees than banks. Research your local institution to see what is best for you.
