  1. The problem with the iPad is that it is the only tablet with iOS as Apple doesn't partner with OEMs like Google does. With Android you have many tablets to choose from. You don't have that option with Apple.

  3. Android manufacturers only support their devices for 2-3 years. After which they are stuck on the old version of Android forever unless you install a Custom ROM. Google gives Android away allowing it be installed on any device, whereas Apple does not limiting to iOS to only their device
