E-cigarettes are not meant to be healthy smoking alternate, so it's disturbing to see young people (including teens) using them. Since it is new tech, we don't know the long term effects

Sears has been struggling for years. Kmart buying them didn't help anymore. I am surprised Kmart is still in business today. Every year Sears/Kmarts keeps closing more stores. It will be sad to see an over 100 year old company go away.

Samsung manufactures most of its phones in Vietnam
2
My outlet mall, Potomac Mills Mall in Virignia which opened in 1985 is not struggling. It is doing well with 220 stores on one level. It's owned by the Simon Group and has Round1 Bowling, AMC Theater and an indoor park
2
The Chevy Malibu sedan may soon get canceled. It's the last sedan Chevy makes and isn't selling very well
2
@cameronmcalister5310 They say they want a smooth seamless integration. But what about updating the old systems in older model cars? Mazda did for 2014-2018 models and I would like to see Toyota do the same.
2
Since Toyota's are well built and reliable meaning they last a long time this makes used cars more expensive then other brands
2
Small car sales are declining in the USA, even for Toyota and Honda who dominate the small car segment
2
Toyota has been a conservative company - that is why their cars are boring. Toyota also fell behind in technology. Their infotainment system is outdated and they refused Android Android until 2019 and the redesign 2018 Camry got the new Entunes 3.0 which supports Apple CarPlay, but Toyota is slow to add Android Auto. While the 2018-2019 Corolla still got the outdated Entunes 2.0 which does not support Android Auto or Apple CarPlay and Toyota won't update it making us stuck with the outdated system
2
An issue with Android devices is that manufacturers stop updating them after 2-3 years leaving you stuck with an outdated phone. Its like manufacturers what you to buy a new phone every 2 years, so they abandoned the older model phone even they a newer version of Android may work on the phone
2
Target took over Zellars in Canada, but it was a failure. Canada shoppers are different then USA shoppers

2
Honda canceled the Fit in the USA last year. They still make it in Japan
2
Japanese automakers are better quality and more reliable. They don't fall apart several years old as the American cars do
2
You don't buy a new Windows laptop every 1-2 years, so you shouldn't have to buy a new smartphone as often.
2
Now low-end Toyota & Honda have advanced safety features such as a pre-collision system with automatic braking, dynamic radar cruise control, automatic high beam headlights, lane departure alert/lane-keeping assist and sway warning. So, you don't need to buy an expensive car to get these safety features
2
The Fiat 500 has be discontinued and due to slow sells Fiat considered pulling out of the USA
2
Also, Apple does not makes its map app for Android whereas Google Maps is for both iOS and Android. In addition, Google Maps is on the web. I don't like that doesn't want to make its app cross-platform and lock everything behind a garden wall
2
This video explains it all. Since merging with Sears, Kmart has failed to update their stores and they use slow 1990s cash registers and unlike Target & Walmart they do not have self check-outs. Kmart stores look run down and messy. They also failed to keep in touch with the customer. This is why no one shops at Kmart and Sears anymore. It looks like the company will go out of business in 2019. Eddie Lambert doesn't know how to run a retailer. Two wrongs don't make a right, so merging Kmart with Sears was a bad idea
2
During the pandemic, smartphones rose for contactless pay at stores and other places you make touchless payments
2
Virginia has an initiative Transforming Rail in Virginia which will improve passenger, commuter, and freight rail in Virginia. VRE (Virginia Railway Express) is a commuter train in northern Virginia. CSX, VRE and Amtrak share the same tracks causing congestion which results in delays. Due to limited track capacity, VRE is only able to operate during weekday rush hour. Of course, CSX and Amtrak get priority over VRE
2
Due to America's obsession with trucks & SUVs, Ford has given up on small cars and sedans. Even GM & Chrysler have cancelled small cars & sedans. They don't want to make them because these small cars make less profit then SUVs and trucks
2
Toyota planned for the chip shortage, but GM did not. Toyota has outsold GM in the end of 2021
2
The problem with CVTs is that they are more complex and some may not be reliable. Toyota has the best CVT. Not everyone is a fan of them.

The problem is that Volvo is now owned by the Chinese, not Sweden
1
Since Toyota is focused on reliability, they don't produce turbo engines which other manufactures have had problems with. Still no TRD for Corolla
1
When a person goes to the Emergency Room to get treated, they need to be treated right away in order to save their life. They don't have time to pick a doctor that is covered under their health insurance plan or negotiate costs. Also, some ambulance companies charge for a ride

Pizza Hut is closing many of it's dine-in stores focusing in on delivery/pick-up stores

Take the Toyota Corolla, the manual transmission is only offered on the SE trim, meaning it can be hard to find at a dealer. Automatic or CVT is standard. The SE/XSE trim, the sportier trim, has paddle shifters and the option to switch to M - Manual mode
1
What about Google Pay? Stop focusing on Apple all the time? Android had NFC years before the iPhone
1
Sadly Charlie Lazarus died
1
Bed, Bath & Beyond is also struggling
1
Also those dumb phones from Nokia have FM Radio allowing you to listen to FM Radio offline. Unfortunately, not many Android phones have an FM chip that is activated as phone carriers don't activate it
1
One thing I don't like about Best Buy is that heavily promote Apple products and not Google Android products. That's not fair. They have a huge table with Apple, and only a tiny table with the Google Pixel and other Google products. Android is a better OS then iOS and is more popular. I don't like Apple because they are proprietary -- they limit iOS and their apps just their device. They don't make it for Android and they don't license iOS to OEM's they way Google does with Android. Android is open source and iOS is not. I like having choices and Apple doesn't give you choices as they limit their software

Another family-owned restaurant is Five Guys. They are not as old as White Castle

Here in Virginia, they have upgraded there 9-1-1 system. You can text 911 and they can locate where you are if you call via cell phone. When a teen called 9-1-1 on a cell phone because he had trouble breathing, the 9-1-1 system was able to locate him. We also have Rapid SOS as well.
1
Toyota is slow to update technology. Toyota's Entune multimedia system shown at 6:19 is behind and sucks compared to other automaker's systems. It doesn't have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Toyota just added Apple CarPlay this year, but had refused Android Auto until now. Toyota should have had both back in 2016

Wow, cancer is the second leading cause of death in the US above COVID. COVID is 3rd cause of death, so that is surprising that more people have long COVID then cancer. It is unfortunate that people contracted COVID in 2020 before vaccines were available.
