I was eager to see him rip apart her whole political ideology as an avid Jimmy Dore viewer. The guy used to at least have some footing when he was considered a leftist by the majority of people, but now he's just alt-right garbage & an embarrassment for anyone who used to like him (just like Tulsi Gabbard).

I know someone in the Hospital over the holidays with COVID. Almost died from it because he thought he got over it, then a few days later got hospitalized for what he thought was a heart condition, and it ended up being lasting effects from COVID. People are actively still dying from this virus.

These people are just on the straight COVID denialism and NFT scam arc

@taranullius9221 People seem to not believe it just because it's not happening to someone they know, but I can tell you personally at least that I don't know any friends or people my age who have COVID, but then I spend time around my 70 something year old parents, and they nearly always know someone who has COVID, who are in the hospital because of COVID, or in at least 2 cases that I know of, friends who have died from COVID. My anecdotal impression is that older people are suffering more from the virus than younger people, the same thing with those that are immunocompromised most likely. It doesn't mean everything should shut down and we should all stay in our houses, but we should acknowledge this is still a pretty serious problem that deserves to be treated like any other life-threatening illness.

@barbiquearea I'm overall more fine with crypto as long as they're not scam coins & pump and dump schemes, but NFTs are straight trash

@ryri51 I can tell you personally I have made at least 10x my return of investment with crypto. Do with that what you will, but I've been trading since 2017 and have always anticipated when it's in a bubble & always warned my friends and family not to get into when it's completely over-hyped - that's when you're going to lose your money. If people don't understand this (or in my friends' cases, just ignore my advice), then I'm sure you would think it's just a scam, but by this logic, the entire stock market it also a scam. There's quite a bit of personal responsibility with both of these things.
