Yeah I like Jimmy, but I agree with you that the idea of teaming up with Mike Cernovich to end wars is like the idea of teaming up with Stalin to end widespread civil rights abuses, or like Trump's idea to team up with Vladimir Putin to create a cyber security team. It's absurd and makes no sense given who Mike Cernovich is.

6 months later and that's what he's doing. Cue the smear videos on Ocasio-Cortez, Justice Democrats, and Andrew Gillum.

I disagree on Kyle. I don't agree with him on everything, but he actually tries to be smart about strategy and cares about the best way to move the progressive movement forward and how to ultimately get progressive policy past even if you disagree with him on Russia and other things, he's still a powerful voice on the left. You're right about Jimmy though. He's just sensationalized thoughtless garbage who only ever gives one side of the picture to his viewers.

Jimmy Dore does do good criticism of the Democratic establishment, but the issue is that he makes it seem like they're the only problem with politics while Trump and the GOP (Republican establishment) run every single branch of the government right now and we have record levels of corruption today. When Jimmy does eventually end up criticizing the Trump admin or his immigration policy in one video out of 1,000, his fans go insane and start calling him a 'sell out' and saying "you're as bad as TYT now". I don't think he's a right-winger at all, but he's created this toxic environment for himself somehow where he now has tons of conservative viewers, where Jimmy now feels obligated to give them what they want and never directly criticize Trump or the GOP.

+When your friend is speaking in ebonics - The difference is in 'the level of corruption' in both parties. If you have 52 Republicans support a bill that will undo Dodd Frank and then you only have 16 corrupt Democrats that support that bill, then it's clear to anyone that the Democratic Party is only 30% as corrupt as the Republicans on that issue, whereas the Republican Party is 100% corrupt. The main thing that Dore fans do not understand and/or do not want to ever acknowledge is that all Democrats are not all the same and the difference between a corporate neoliberal Democrat vs a progressive Democrat is about as huge as the difference in political ideology between a generic Democrat and Republican. At the very very least though, the vast majority of those corrupted corporate Democrats align on the moral side when it comes to civil rights and social issues. Republicans are near 100% terrible on corporate/financial issues and near 100% terrible on social issues. This is common and basic political knowledge that you would have to wittingly ignore to not grasp the difference in parties. In addition, there is absolutely no movement within the Republican Party to get money out of politics or end corruption and lobbying, whereas there is a Gigantic movement in the Democratic Party right now to elect more progressives and get money out of the Democratic Party and out of politics. The movement in the Dem party is growing exponentially fast, while the Republicans prove time and time again they can and will never change and their constituents will never vote them out like the Dem base. These differences are so obvious that it seems silly to even have to explain this to you, but you're acting like none of this is the case or you're not aware of any of it.
