Kyle does his best not to snap at Jimmy. Go watch their "debate" and you can see Kyle gives Jimmy more slack than he deserves, but he's still asked Jimmy a number of times to stop bashing on Justice Democrats and Bernie and explained why these people are the most effective way to win with progressive politics. Does anyone still doubt that given how much Justice Democrats and Our Revolution has already disrupted political discourse in this country.

@FrizzKid05 Pretty sure Sam wouldn't be taking shots at Jimmy if Jimmy would not be constantly taking shots at Justice Democrats and Bernie Sanders. There are literally compilations videos of the amount of garbage Jimmy says about Bernie and the politicians actually making a difference ("I hope you [Bernie] LOSE in 2020"). Jimmy seems to be utterly confused about who actually deserves critique in this corrupt country. I've heard him bash on Bernie and AOC more than anything he's ever said about Donald Trump or Mitch McConnell.

He also basically conducted a smear campaign against her because she said some innocuous thing about "supporting all Democrats in the general even Cuomo" after she had been campaigning for Cynthia Nixon for months with her own volunteers.

Kyle has already made his thoughts perfectly clear. Go watch his "debate" with Jimmy where Kyle just ends up educating Jimmy for an 1 hour and a half about not constantly taking shots at Bernie Sanders and Justice Democrats (and then Jimmy ends up not learning a thing because he continues to do it to this day).

@FrizzKid05 Stop using the "comedian" excuse. Stephen Colbert is also a comedian, does that excuse all the trash he's said like when he said we shouldn't pull troops out of Syria because of Russian influence.

@jamesmartini4332 The issue wasn't that it was a disagreeable statement (I agree with you on that), it was the fact that Jimmy took it above and beyond and was the only person claiming it to be an "endorsement" after AOC had campaigned for Cynthia Nixon for months to unseat Cuomo (he conveniently left that part out of his initial analysis). What I took issue with the most was how Jimmy was holding up that 9 second statement on CNN to use as a reason for why all Democrats, even Justice democrats, are co-opted and eventually cave-in to corruption, and again, how he said, in that same clip, how "Bernie's revolution was a lie". I disagree with his conclusions and his hyperbole on the matter.

@FrizzKid05 I'm not making excuses, only observations. Nobody would be attacking Jimmy if he was not constantly attacking the politicians everyone supports. Bernie, AOC, Our Revolution, Justice Democrats, these are some of the only people and organizations actually making a difference in Washington and Jimmy's gotta be the only leftist (whose not a neoliberal) who bashes these people because they don't fit into his own political worldview.

@skaterockerstar From what I have seen, his audience does not look favorably on Justice Democrats. His comment sections are vehemently anti-Justice Democrats. As I said before, you think that's just a coincidence?

You're just smearing the entire organization based on the actions of a few people where both Cenk and Kyle agreed to the actions and still support the organization to this day. @459dirello4 How did she backpedal? What happened was Jimmy spread the rumor and overreaction that her statement was an "endorsement" and eventually one of the lesser known progressives reached out to her campaign and her campaign said what she casually said in that interview was not an endorsement. So even her own team clarified she was not endorsing anyone and yet Jimmy kept pushing the idea anyways. In that interview, Jake Tapper was trying to trap her into saying she didn't support other Democrats and make her out to be self-serving, which is why that conversation went the direction it went. Tapper did the same exact thing to her with Medicare for All in that interview, the whole thing was just propaganda meant to make her slip up in one way or the other. The reason Jimmy did a story on it was not because of any news of an "endorsement", it was because Jimmy wanted any fucking reason to prove his strategy was the correct strategy and the takeover of the Democratic Party would never work, that's literally the conclusions he made and if you think he was just saying that based on logic, you're a fool. The man works backwards from his own conclusions non-stop, which is why he thinks creating a People's Party, the 33rd newest political party in the US, is somehow a GOOD idea when the Greens have been trying to get 50 state ballot access for decades and still haven't gotten full representation. We're living in an age where Bernie Sanders has shifted the overton window and taken control of the narrative in the Democratic Party so effectively, that the majority of the candidates are either progressive or faking being progressive because that's the only way to win with the base. Meanwhile, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar are putting Israel and Netanyahu's regime on task for the first time possibly ever. While all this is happening, Jimmy is screaming into the void about how Bernie and Justice Democrats aren't effective and will never change politics. THEY ALREADY HAVE. Bernie Sanders could be president in 2 years and Jimmy would still be screaming about how we need a People's Party, he has about as much sense as a neoliberal Washington Democratic strategist (in other words, none at all and you should probably do the exact opposite of anything he recommends).

@avenuePad Nothing wrong with criticizing Bernie when it's done in a constructive way, but saying "Bernie's revolution is a lie" and still claiming to be a supporter is pretty fucking disingenuous. Also, not sure how that can be taken out of context, it's a pretty damning statement no matter how it's said.

@ihartevil It's weird how the only way people can protect Jimmy is by misinterpreting what he says/doing mental gymnastics to protect him or by simply just excusing his actions because he's a "jagoff comedian". None of these are valid in my opinion.

Even Jimmy is supporting a long-time Democrat for president, so his efforts to push the pathetic agenda of Nick Brana's People's Party is just contradictory to his own actions. There are already over 30 different 3rd parties in America and guess how close any of them have ever come to winning the presidency, Senate, or Congressional seats in Washington? The Democratic Party may not feel good or be the most comfortable option but it is literally the only way to win whatsoever. You don't have the Representation in 3rd parties, and you're fooling yourself if you think you do. When Justice Democrats was founded they looked into every possible option outside the Democratic Party and realized the ONLY way to win was by winning within the party and taking no corporate money (even that way is incredibly hard to do, but going 3rd party is 1,000 times harder).

Kyle mostly avoids the conflict because he's friends with Jimmy, but you can tell he's in deep disagreement with him. Just watch their "debate" and you'll see how Kyle fundamentally disagrees with all the shit Jimmy says about Bernie and Justice Democrats. It should be obvious to you anyways if you know Kyle's ideology already.

@georgecostanza712 Kyle and Cenk are basically the only 2 people unwilling to call Jimmy out for what he is, and it's primarily because they've been friends for a long time. If you think Kyle and Cenk don't have deep ideological disagreements with Jimmy though you're a fucking moron. @artis1969 It's not anything that Sam said, it's based on Jimmy's own actions. All it takes is to watch Jimmy bash on Bernie Sanders, Our Revolution, AOC, Justice Democrats, etc. and that should be enough to convince anyone he doesn't have the best interests of progressives in mind. He literally said that he hopes Bernie loses in 2020 on one of his live streams, how do you excuse that if you're a Bernie supporter?
