Remember when Michael Tracey claimed Maxine Waters assaulted him because she pushed his mic out of her face?

This interview must've taken place before Mueller's team came out and claimed Barr was hiding their conclusions in his memo. No one with half a brain would try to claim Barr's word as fact after it had been completely contradicted by Mueller's team. On top of that, Barr is the guy who covered up the Iran Contra Affair, so his credibility already was highly questionable.

The core problem with Michael Tracey's argument is simply that he unequivocally believes one part of Barr's letter, but then unequivocally rejects another part of it. If you're going to reject any part of Barr's letter, then you have to operate on the assumption that the entire thing is not credible (which it isn't due to conflicting statements from the Mueller team).

I want Michael Tracey to apologize for his dismissive statement about Joe Biden's creepy touchy behavior as if it's completely fine.

Or maybe the fact that Trump is giving nuclear technology to the Saudis, all the while ripping up peace deals with Iran, two things that have absolutely nothing to do with Russiagate.

@cpwm17 The Left doesn't support an investigation that unveiled campaign finance violation, violations of the emoluments clause, and the convictions of Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, Rick Gates, Michael Cohen, Papadopolous, potentially Roger Stone, and more? It's always annoying to see people dismissing the entire investigation based on only a third of its scope in Russian collusion.

@cpwm17 That is what certain media organizations "sold it on" and overly reported on. That does not make it factually so. Mueller's investigation was always on multiple scopes including Obstruction and later he expanded the investigation to include investigating criminal dealings in Trump's businesses. Also, you're making a ton of brazen assumptions about the report itself and apparently how it's purpose was to "increase class warfare". Citation needed buddy. In addition, the report is not even out and Barr's letter has proven to not be credible since there are conflicting reports from Mueller's team on how it is mischaracterizing their findings. You and everyone else is completely jumping the gun, and I say this as someone who, if I had to predict, would guess the Trump/Russia collusion angle of the report is a dead-end.

@Dtutugxigc That's funny considering Michael Tracey was the one babbling like an idiot. I don't even like Sam really, but Michael Tracey is a total child.

@Dtutugxigc "Conspiracy theorist"? He's literally just arguing for basic logic and common sense. It's a fact that there were guilty pleas during the investigation, calling it all a hoax or fraudulent is factually inaccurate, not to mention the actual report is not even out and Republicans are blocking it like their lives depend on it.
1
@Dtutugxigc At one point Tracey even explains how he unequivocally takes Barr's word as fact on one part of Barr's letter, but then completely rejects another part of it on the Russian hacks. This is contradictory and he is clearly working backwards from his conclusion, whether you accept Barr's letter as the truth or not.
