@jsanf44373 Every person who enters the MPP either as a candidate, volunteer or simply just donates ends up talking about how the whole thing is a clusterfuck and clearly just a giant grift that has done absolutely nothing of consequence for the last 6 years. Dore was acting like these people were the answer to the 2 party system for literal years but now even he has backed off the People's Party not even explaining the reason for why he doesn't shill for them anymore all of a sudden.

The direction that Russell Brand has taken in the last 2 years is so sad. He used to have such a beautiful outlook on politics and talk about it from a place from spirituality, love and tolerance. Now he's just a more well-spoken version of Dore

@anactualcloud Maybe some, but it's mainly right-wingers and people who have twisted their brains into being so "anti-establishment" that they despise Bernie Sanders and actually support Donald Trump, a guy who did nothing but the establishment's bidding for 4 years. Looking through the comments is like being in the Upside-Down of Youtube politics.

@tyronebrown3837 The establishment was also adversarial towards Obama when he was running against Hillary Clinton. That means literally nothing about whether he's anti-establishment or not.

This guy was Tulsi Gabbard's biggest supporter for years - a woman who became a far-right Republican overnight. In addition, he also funneled people to the People Party for years - an organization that turned out to be a giant scam and waste of time and money for anyone involved. Not to mention he's essentially an anti-vaxxer now. How does anyone take this guy seriously anymore??

I'm convinced the last shreds of leftist viewers unsubbed once it came to light the party (People's Party) Dore had been funneling people to for years was just a giant scam and waste of time with ballot access in 2 states. I don't know how anyone trusts this man's judgement or politics anymore but the fact that his audience is 95% right-wingers kinda says it all.

@matbrooks7678 In the beginning of the 2008 Democratic Primary all the big donors were locked down for Hillary Clinton and Obama ran an internet-driven campaign that had grass roots support. It wasn't until later that some donors began to flip from Hillary to Obama (probably with assurances from Obama that he wasn't actually serious about "Hope and Change"). Obama was a nobody at first and of course the establishment and media were automatically going to side with the Clintons.

michaelcouchman2820 His content changed a lot, but the warning signs were still there from the start, just like with Tulsi Gabbard and how she had previously supported torture or how mid-campaign she created her own white washed version of Medicare for All just to satisfy insurance companies and big pharma. Channels like MR saw the ugly trajectory of people like Jimmy Dore from the start and his fans just saw their criticism as pettiness cause they were too caught up in their reactionary bubble. And yes, to be fair, Sam can be a condescending prick a lot, but he wasn't the only one pointing out what a fool and useful idiot Jimmy Dore was, and really, people should've figured it out on their own when he endlessly ONLY started attacking the Left and Democrats but it would be radio silence on even tepid criticism for Republicans and Trump - pretty big fucking red flag right there.

@badmanskill1112 MR doesn't get it right all the time, but they're a hell of a lot closer to being pro-labor and for real leftist change than Jimmy, who literally focuses nowadays on running defense for Trump and the MAGA movement and doing anti-vax conspiracies despite he himself getting the vaccine. He literally said Trump is the lesser of two evils when Biden just a few days ago gutted a neoliberal regulation that resulted in raising wages for construction workers, not to mention he's still fighting for student debt relief, pulled us out of Afghanistan and a whole list of good substantive changes that surprised even a lot of avid Leftists, while Trump gets in office and his main legislation is massively raising taxes for the 1% and pushing shit like Net Neutrality and selling your personal information on steroids. Jimmy is a massive fucking useful idiot or, like other people say, just an out and out grifter - the fact that you don't see that yet makes you look like one of these MAGA guys still going to Trump rallies at this late date talking a big game about being "anti-establisment" but then being a giant cheerleader for Trump, whose done more for the establishment since Ronald Reagan was in office and created the illusion of 'trickle down economics'.
