+Catfish - She was apparently attending the "2020 Donor Primary" (as a journalist named it) where certain Democrats looking towards 2020 were groveling for money from donors for their future campaigns apparently. Bernie was the only one that firmly refused to attend or participate and denounced the event. It's fucked up Warren attended at all and she should know better, it's only going to hurt her chances anyways.

+turthseekr420 j - If you have to ask like that, then you're just an idiot. The most obvious answer to your question is that Bernie doesn't take corporate PAC money or dark money, and Elizabeth Warren does. She attended the "2020 Donor Primary" and Bernie refused to be a part of it and denounced it. More importantly though, Bernie started the whole progressive movement in 2016 and continues it along with helping to unionize workers just as he has done for the last 55 years of his life. He is the longest serving Independent in Congress. If you seriously think Bernie is somehow "just a sheepdog" now which many right-wingers are spouting as something of a talking point (just as they say he's a commie), then you have a very distorted view of politics because Bernie is the closest thing to the perfect progressive politician you will find, but many lash out at him because he is only 99% perfect rather than 100%. This purist view of politics will not get people anywhere especially not today in 2018 when money floods politics and easily drowns out those that refuse to be a part of it like Bernie. The only reason he is able to overcome it is because he is a very inspirational and vocal politician that is aligning the average people against the corporate status quo, and people recognize what he is doing. If you want to reject that truth and just pretend that "he's a sheepdog for the Dems" because you want to act tribal towards party lines, then I think that's a pretty closed minded perspective to take and you're just voting against your own interests. Honestly, if you're a part of the working class and 99% and you vote against Bernie and smear him like the MSM and far right, then you are just voting and fighting against your own interests considering Bernie is The Candidate for the 99%.

+Stella*Maris - Why are you spreading a paid advertisement by corporate Democrat Mike Honda and trying to sell it as a 'gotcha'? You realize that Mike Honda supported the ACA over Single Payer and that race that he's pushing in that email he was actually accused of using taxpayer money to bolster his campaign? Also, you can tell that email is bullshit by the fact that it's claiming Khanna took Super PAC money, which he doesn't, that's the whole point of Justice Democrats, and if you seriously think corporate Democrat Mike Honda has the secret answer to that "scandal", then you're a fucking moron. https://www.opensecrets.org/members-of-congress/summary?cid=N00026427

Name one thing that Ro Khanna has ever voted on that you disagree with?

I'm glad he is too, but it doesn't make sense why he persuades his viewers to never vote Democrat at all and then turn around to back a Justice Democrat. Despite the contradictory nature of this, I think Jimmy is making a huge mistake when he tells his viewers to not even try to help progressives win races against corporate Democrats, because even if you have a scorn for all Democrats (which effectively includes people like Nina Turner, Tulsi Gabbard, Alison Hartson and others), you should still be in favor for purging the corporate Democrats from the party, which is what many people who support Justice Democrats and Our Revolution have as their goals in the first place. I don't really understand this ideology of "Never Democrat", when you could easily use it as a tool for your advantage of hurting the corporate Democrats in these races and use your vote to flush them out of the their own party for good.

+fishlove69 - Khanna is nothing like Gillibrand, first of all Khanna has sworn off taking corporate PAC money or dark money, and Gillibrand gets hundreds of thousands in corporate PAC money. She supported the Bush tax cuts, the auto industry bailouts, she supports the ACA over Medicare for All, and she was one of the only Democrats to vote with the Republicans in funding the Iraq War. She did so 2 or 3 different times to vote to fund the efforts in Iraq for an unseen amount of time. Khanna has a near perfect progressive voting record, go check yourself. Your comparison and argument is pathetically flimsy. Why would you even say something that stupid unless you're just spouting a knee-jerk emotional response to disliking Khanna for one dual endorsement he made as a political strategy to legalize Marijuana federally and now has recognized his mistake and even came on Jimmy's show to explain himself. Gillibrand would never do any of that shit, what a joke.

+D Personal - Yes I'm apparently a troll because I disagree with you. Nice cherry picking btw of a specific clip (at a specific timestamp) of a tiny townhall meeting several years ago. If you actually follow Bernie you would know his views on Israel have changed over the years and it's understandable since he's 99.5% Ashkenazi Jewish. Here's a video just from the other day though with Bernie condemning Israel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l88GkRxIYBI Here's another one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkAVRYdVtIQ And here's an hour long debate he did on the Iran Deal and Israel just last month: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgsAjlSGh9E&t=2910s You keep spreading 5 year old videos though and hoping nobody gives a shit about what his actual positions are now.

+D Personal - Wtf, way to try to pull the conversation out of context like a huge fuckass. The video is literally labeled '"Israel should be condemned" -- Bernie Sanders'. His "next sentence" was how the United States should be condemning Israel right now instead of the Trump administration "applauding it". Then he said Israel has a right to security but shooting unarmed protesters is not a form of security. It just goes to show how biased you are against him. You sound like a partisan hack, when you take a clear condemnation and twist it to say he's a "Zionist gatekeeper". You wanna produce a clip of some Republican or neoliberal making stronger condemnations of Israel after the massacre? Seriously, show me a clip.

Maybe, but if you listened to his whole interview you can at least understand that his reasoning was to try to push Marijuana federal legalization and 2 other progressive policies through Congress and wasn't aware of Ocasio-Cortez's platform in the race. The even more important thing is that he came on Jimmy's show to try to explain himself because he cares about his base even though he doesn't really realize Dore's convinced all his viewers to never vote Democrat again even for people like Ocasio-Cortez, which is kind of funny that so many people are getting so angry at Khanna when they would've never voted for Cortez in the first place because of how tribal they're acting in only supporting 3rd Parties and not all progressives. The most important thing, however, is that Khanna still has a stellar voting record and has been on the right side of the issues through and through, so him trying to play politics should really come second in priority over voting on progressive policies and massively supporting policies like Medicare for All. Without people like Khanna, Single Payer will never ever pass, which is why people should still shame Khanna for what he did, but should really use their anger in the right direction towards corporate Democrats where it belongs.
