Comments by "" (@thehumanity0) on "Tucker Carlson Destroys Amazon u0026 Jeff Bezos' Business "Practices" w/Abby Martin" video.
Why don't you actually show the entire clip Jimmy. Tucker Carlson claims it's the left who are solely to blame for everything and claims that the only way to stop it is "deregulation", you know, since deregulation of Banks and Wall Street worked so well in 2008. It's weird how Tucker's "solution" lines up with the exact same goals of these large corporations and Tucker's donors over at Fox News.

+Florida Man - Wow now all the right-wing dumbfucks are going to be claiming they're the only ones who care about class inequality and a living wage. You see, this is what happens when you compliment Fucker Tarlson like Jimmy did even though the end of Tucker's clip (that Jimmy didn't show) is just bullshit corporatist propaganda calling for "deregulation", less taxes on corporations, and less government. Progressives are the only ones seriously dealing with this conflict and have been for years and years so go fuck yourself.
13
+Neightrix Prime - Capitalism by definition causes corporatism. The idea is to expand a business and profit by any means necessary, which is how you end up with mega-corporations like Amazon and Walmart. There's a reason those corporations did not originate in Canada, France or Sweden.

He knows, he doesn't care and instead wants to portray Tucker Carlson like a truth teller for some stupid fucking reason. He's giving Carlson credibility to his viewers even though this video in entirety was disgusting partisan propaganda.
8
+Bill Randall - Ya got proof? Or did you just pull that number right out of your ass

Name one politician who is in favor of letting illegal immigrants in. You're question is just a giant strawman.
7
That's NOT "letting in illegal aliens", you just named a bunch of things that have nothing to do with the border. Dreamers are people who have been in America since they were children or infants and even the majority of Republicans are in favor of giving them permanent citizenship so try again on that ONE. Also, ICE is NOT border patrol and security, it was created after the 9/11 attacks under the Patriot Act and recently they've been using unconstitutional power to do illegal searches and within the past year have been dealing with a court case because they violated the 13th amendment and were doing legitimate slavery in their detention centers. The courts even said the case has merit and are going ahead with it. You're just naming a bunch of shit about "rounding up illegals and sending them to Mexico" such as with the sanctuary cities and so forth, and yes not all Democrats are on board with that idea of the Gestapo for Mexicans. That has nothing to do with border control and literally no Democrat is in favor of open borders, which is why your comment is just one big fucking pathetic strawman.

Jimmy's answers to the problem are literally the opposite of the conclusion that Tucker Carlson came to in that clip. I don't know why Jimmy didn't play the whole clip and show Tucker for the fraud he is. Just playing the beginning where he correctly analyzes the problem makes it seem like he was "right for once", when in fact all he's doing is flipping the problem on its head and blaming it on "regulations" and "taxes". He's just making things worse with this bullshit slippery propaganda.
7
+Katarina Smith - Watch the whole clip. Jimmy cut the clip right before the hardcore propaganda started. Tucker blamed "the left" for all corporate welfare and then claimed the only way to fix it is with more "deregulation", tax cuts, and less government. He's flipping the problem on its head like a bullshit propagandist and Jimmy is giving him more credibility by not showing that part of the clip. Thank fuck for David Doel and Kyle Kulinski who actually reported on the whole thing.
5
+MrVancityeagle - Actually Kyle didn't even play the whole clip either, but at least showed the beginning of Tucker's propaganda. You should watch David Doel's breakdown on the Rational National. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bhe7QdpG58U ... He actually did coverage on the whole clip and talked about the hardcore propaganda that even Kyle didn't get to completely. Kyle actually acknowledged that the whole thing was a bait-and-switch though, which Jimmy basically ignored completely unless you noticed him quickly squeeze in the line "Tucker's wrong about his conclusion" at the very end.
5
+Jack Black - Lol I just realized that you put "Barack Obama" on the very top of your strawman list of "politicians in favor of letting people in" aka 'open borders'. That's the most hilariously stupid thing I've ever seen. Why don't you ask Jimmy Dore how Obama was on immigration. They called him the "Deporter in Chief". His immigration policy was fucking horrendous. There were fucking pictures of kids in cages from his presidency, because that's how harsh he was on immigration and deportation. More people were deported under his presidency than George W. Bush and any other before him, he should rightfully be the hero to the alt-right by those margins. You guys are fucking retarded claiming "Obama" wants open borders. What a pathetic joke.
4
Watch the rest of the clip. He even tries to sell people his garbage book at the end after claiming we need "less regulations", less taxes, less government. Basically doing propaganda for the very companies he's railing against in the beginning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8gqHnCB3Qg
3
+Raymond Lumsden - What's pathetic is that you idiots are still deaf, dumb and blind to the truth about this country. You're still blaming the people below you, some Mexican guy who works a shit job for below minimum wage, because you don't understand the fundamental truth that the penniless immigrants aren't the ones screwing you, it's the oligarchs at the top. It's crazy how you dumbasses can watch Jimmy Dore and still be completely ignorant to that fact. Your own party is tricking you to look at "those people over there" and blame them for your problems when it's really the Republican politicians and corporate Democrats who are making your wages stagnant, accepting corporate welfare and tax cuts just so they can fire their employees in the factories and mines. The Republicans and corporate Democrats are both the ones deregulating Wall Street and the Banks, inflating the housing market, and crushing unions ensuring you'll never get a raise at your job. Go back to Fox News to complain about poor homeless brown people you ignorant clowns.
3
99% of all lobbying in Washington is done for more deregulation, less taxes, and less government around corporations, and you're solution is to just give them everything they ever wanted and fulfill their biggest fantasy? You're either incredibly stupid or incredibly naive.
3
+Sabir Zain - "Tucker calls out corruption on both sides". Are you fucking kidding? Go watch this whole story, he's clearly just blaming "the left" for corporate greed and corporate welfare as if Republicans are squeaky clean and then he even claims "regulations" are the reason why corporations have to much free reign. He's a fucking joke and partisan hack. Clearly none you watched this whole story.
3
+jvde - I agree it's fucking infuriating that conservatives are now just figuring out there's a poverty issue in this country, but then if you saw the rest of that clip you would realize Tucker Carlson is only using the populist left rhetoric of Bernie Sanders to correctly point out the problem but then claim the "solution" is deregulation, more tax cuts, less government and it's basically just disgusting propaganda in favor of those same companies he's railing against in the beginning. His solution is to give Amazon and Walmart everything they want apparently.
3
+AMpufnstuf - Look at the thread and the stuff I've been responding to. I asked OP to name one politician who was in favor of open borders and he said "Barack Obama" as his number 1 pick.
2
+Michelle Turner - Did you even watch his whole video? Jimmy cherry picked 1 minute out of a 5 minute video that was a masterclass in partisan propaganda. Tucker literally claims that "regulations" are why corporate welfare is going on and insinuates we need to deregulate these corporations more to stop it, which is funny because it happens to line up with exactly what those corporations want in the first place and likely what Tucker's donors want over at Fox News. More deregulation, less government, and give these corporations even more free reign so they can fuck us even more.
2
Except for the fact that every single Justice Democrat and real progressive in US Congress have been saying these things for years, while Bernie Sanders has been saying this shit since the 1970s.
2
Watch the whole clip. Jimmy completely cut the clip off right before the propaganda started. He starts claiming that we need "less regulations" on these corporations, which just so happens to be what these corporations want as well along with Tucker's donors over at Fox News. He's leaning on Bernie's popularity and policy so he can flip it on its head.
2
+Libertarian Socialist - I can't believe Jimmy didn't show that whole video. That whole story was disgusting propaganda where he just flipped the problem on its head claiming that "more deregulation" is the solution. WTF? Tucker Carlson is a piece of shit and Jimmy should know better, Jimmy even said at the end we need "more unions and more regulations" while Tucker literally said the exact opposite.
2
Watch the whole clip. Jimmy cut it off right before the hardcore propaganda started.
2
This clip was only a small part of a 5 minute video he did to steal Bernie's message and flip it on its head calling for more "deregulation", tax cuts, and less government, the same things those big corporations desperately want. He's just a partisan hack doing trash propaganda for donors and crony capitalism.
2
@Joseph Geiger He's not even talking about "government greed" here, he's talking about a system rigged by Amazon and Crony Capitalism, and YES the solution to that is more regulation. If we had buildings falling down from bad coding practices, should we decide to slash government regulations on construction code? If we had more murders happening in a county, should we decide to loosen manslaughter laws? Would THAT be the "solution"? Calling government regulations "more government greed" is fucking absurd, it's laws on the market place just as we have laws on construction sites and for everyday citizens. If you take laws away from the market, then the result is megalomaniacs like Jeff Bezos who own so much wealth they could end world hunger 50 times over.
1
@Joseph Geiger Government regulations should realistically not be a partisan issue, they're just common sense.
1
+AMpufnstuf - What the fuck are you even talking about? Those two things are completely irrelevant to one another. You don't have to be "pro-illegal immigration" to be against some asshole saying 'Mexicans are sending their rapists, drug dealers, and criminals' when they cross the border. The same guy who passed legislation to abduct children from their mothers and family at the border. It speaks more to a person's moral compass than it does to their 'stance on immigration'. This might be the dumbest comment thread I've ever responded on that wasn't on a Fox News video. You're all literally saying that "Barack Obama" is someone whose in favor of 'open borders'. Do any of you know how fucking stupid that claim is? The "Deporter in Chief" and the guy who locked kids in cages before Trump made it popular.
1
Maybe you should tell Tucker Carlson that, he's claiming that "regulations" are the problem and we need a more unregulated market (later in that very same video), and yet Jimmy is still praising him as a 'truth teller' because he talked about an actual problem for 1 minute that progressives have been screaming about for decades at the top of their lungs.
1
@sam_barris The whole video is misrepresenting Carlson's actual stance and the fact that you have to timestamp to a very specific location at the end of the video where he very hastily states "Tucker has the wrong conclusion" in less than 4 seconds in a 15 minute video just proves what the issue is with this. As someone else said, just take a look at the comments and you will see your answer of just how much the majority of his audience actually came away with the impression that Carlson was dead on 100%, when it should tell you everything that Jimmy cut out the entire second portion of this video where things take a turn for the worse with Tucker's deeper analysis and "solutions". It reminds me of how Politico and The Hill write stories about Bernie, progressives and even bashing the Green Party for daring to run in the general. They will smear Bernie and progressives in every sense of the word but end up putting in some small weasel words at the end so they can have room for deniability when progressives rain down on them on Twitter in response to their bullshit propaganda.
1
+Austin Zappas - I can believe it. My rent has legit doubled in the last 4 years for the same exact floorplan. I can only imagine what it's like for people who need to support a family and kids, and people who make shit wages like Amazon workers are likely living in their cars. We're already in a fucking Recession.
1
Strange because later in that very same clip Tucker Carlson is putting the blame completely on "the left" for corporate welfare and then claiming that "regulations" are the problem and we need a more unregulated market (basically proposing the best way to make corporate welfare far WORSE).
1
+The Jimmy Dore Show - No he said it at the very end really quickly, the only people that noticed it were the people looking to see if he'd even point out the issue with that clip. Why didn't he show the whole clip to let people decide for themselves? Look at the people in your comment section, they're all praising Tucker Carlson for his total trash propaganda (in its entirety) because you didn't show the 'switch' part of the bait-and-switch that encompassed his video. Tucker Carlson is stealing Bernie's message so he can flip it on its head and do propaganda for donors who desperately want "deregulation", tax cuts, and less government. You're basically lying by omission by not showing the rest of the clip and then praising Tucker Carlson to give him more credibility to your viewers.
1
@nerthus4685 Except for the part where his "solution" is more deregulation, tax cuts for the wealthy, and less government, which strangely is exactly what companies like Amazon and Walmart lobby for in Washington. Ain't that just a big coincidence huh
1
/A\ "Where are the leftists talking about it? Nowhere." Dude, are you fucking joking? That's literally all Bernie Sanders and progressives EVER talk about. Every time Bernie Sanders opens his mouth it's about class inequality and Tucker is literally referencing Bernie Sanders in this video, so what in the fuck are you talking about? Progressives care about this issue a billion times more than any conservative who endlessly scream about the poor brown people with a dollar in their pocket rather than focusing on the people at the top screwing you over. Ever notice how all Trump only ever talks about is "The Wall" and "scary" penniless immigrants, while all Bernie and progressives like Ro Khanna talk about is how to get money out of politics and fix our broken system where CEOs make 400 times more than their average worker. Tucker Carlson and his endless bits on "the war on Christmas" and "Mexicans will not replace us" is a fucking joke and the fact that the one decent clip from Tucker has him calling for more deregulation, tax cuts, and less government in addition to playing the blame game and calling Jeff Bezos a blue-haired liberal leftist while the only one going after him in Washington is Bernie Sanders and Ro Khanna is the biggest joke of all.
