  1. The rule change isn't going to stop Bernie. Vermont Democrats have already made changes to Bernie's platform so this rule change won't effect him. Bernie has far too much support for this rule change to actually make a difference.

  3. Yeah the establishment Dems would rather have Trump 2020 than Bernie 2020 hate to say, which is why they'd rather lose the general than have Bernie be the Dem ticket. Right-wingers need to understand they are on the same side as the corporate Democrats because they refuse to see Trump's blatant corporatism, corruption, and crony capitalism.

  4. The establishment on both the right and the left wants people to turn their backs from the Dem party. The corporate Democrats want it because they're vain enough to think they don't need progressives to win an election with their own corrupt corporate Democrat candidate like Kamala Harris, while the establishment right wants it to happen because they know they have a far better chance if the left doesn't align under a single candidate like Bernie Sanders, and if Bernie isn't the Dem ticket, the vote will be massively split between the corporate Democrat and all the other Green, Independent and other leftist candidates. I'm sure many right-wingers on this channel even secretly want that to happen because they will sometimes come out and show their cards by saying stupid shit like "Trump 2020"

  5. The Green party has been trying to get a fair election for decades and still has made barely any progress. Why is it you think Bernie can do it in less than a year before the 2020 primaries? Maybe if he had a pair of ruby slippers but doubtful not even then. Stop acting like this is some one dimensional issue that is a simple fix for our corrupt 2 party system.

  6. +Brian Wolfe - He's not "doing nothing". He's likely going to run on the Dem ticket again. The rule change won't effect him. Vermont Democrats have already taken precautions to label him as a Democrat to protect him from the rule change even if he's serving as an Independent senator in DC. I would be massively surprised if the change actually stopped him and anyways it hasn't even been finalized yet. The whole rule change is happening in the first place to try to get rid of superdelegates in the party, which would vastly increase Bernie's chances in getting a fair primary in the DNC. Trump was able to overwhelm the RNC in 2016 when they didn't have superdelegates to stop him, so Bernie is more than a capable candidate (most popular politician in America) for overwhelming the Democratic Party in 2020 and moving on to the general. If he runs as Green or Independent, the American people will fuck it up for sure just as they do every election cycle. Only chance is to play in their corrupt two party system. I don't see any evidence to show the American people are ready to vote in a rational way, so I don't see a better alternative to get Bernie elected.
