That's why people were calling it a Lose/Lose/Lose scenario for progressives. You guys are just willfully ignoring these facts and pretending like AOC is a "phony" and "fraud". I have a feeling that you're just working backwards from your conclusions not wanting or caring to understand the decision-making and situation involved. It's called Politics for a reason and those progressives were either going to be left with nothing and Pelosi as Speaker, or they were going to be left with huge concessions and Pelosi as Speaker. They made a judgement call in a hopeless scenario where they would lose in one way or another. If you want to blame anyone, blame Barbara Lee because she was the one that people knew would only have a chance against Pelosi, but instead opted to only run for a secondary chair, which she, in turn, was denied.

He doesn't even care to do research on IF it is a big deal, which it IS. This is the first time in living memory progressives have ever even had a seat at the table, you wanna claim that "doesn't matter", go ahead, but this is what you call "progress". There were concessions made to Pramilia Jayapal (not even Ocasio-Cortez) that they would be placed on committees. Progressives will be given a seat at the table and power within the party for the first time in living memory, which yes, is a big deal. You can call it "possibilities" if you want, but just know you're pulling that info directly out of your ass. Also, stop acting like anyone wants her to be Speaker, that's not the case and you fucking know it. As I said before, it was a Lose/Lose/Lose scenario. The progressives made a choice that they would either hold their votes and end up with no concessions (and Pelosi would just get votes from Republicans for concessions from the Right) or they would try to make the best of the situation and gain concessions and a seat at the table on these committees for the first time ever. This is how Politics works, stop being a child about it and pretending like these decisions never have to be made. Even if you ultimately disagree with them, calling them 'sellouts' and hinting that they're all 'frauds' is just petulant especially when they're making these decisions with the interest of furthering the progressive agenda in mind whether you want to admit that or not. I don't see the Greens or the "People Party" stepping up to help them though because they literally have no one in Congress or even at the state-level (maybe 1 Green on the state-level).
