Kennedy was a piece of garbage on most cases, but he was still the thin difference between terrible terrible policies like the 1st Muslim ban, gay marriage and abortion rights, which they will most certainly reverse now and propel the US back to the times of the 1970s before Roe vs Wade. This IS really bad, maybe it will sink it for you when they illegalize abortion again and there are horror stories of teenage girls doing abortions on themselves with coat hangers like the "good ole days" when America was great.

  3. If Bernie would've won (or will win in 2020), he would've put in justices like William O. Douglas, who was such a threat to the establishment elite and corporations that he had to retire because he became such a huge target by corporations and once found that the CIA had tried to plant Marijuana in his house to set him up and get him off the courts. FDR knew what to do with the courts. He packed the courts so that the New Deal could be passed and saved this country. All the conservative judges on the court, at the time, opposed the New Deal like a bunch of elitist corporate shills. Fuck Clarence Thomas, fuck Scalia, fuck Kennedy, and fuck everyone who voted for Citizens United. I hope Bernie packs the courts so the SCOTUS will give democracy back to the people of this country just as FDR had done.

  4. Yah I don't think the quorum idea would work because you have the select Dems like Joe Manchin who is essentially just a full-on Republican in all but name, but I just say fuck it. Let McConnell do his bullshit and then in 2 years when Bernie's president just pack the courts. FDR did it because he had balls of steel and did it to fight the establishment to save our country from the Great Depression, and now I think our country/oligarchy is in such shit shape today that it's almost necessary to get enough justices in the SCOTUS so we can finally reverse Citizens United and warrantless NSA spying.
