Elon Musk has always had an insufferable fanclub that think he's god because he's rich and randomly sent a car into space. At least everyone acknowledged Bezos was a scumbag when he was the richest man.

@RobertLamoa Tell that to all his factories that are polluting paint and chemicals on a mass scale. The Elon Musk fan club only hear what they want to.

@rolfrau5743 & imagine everything that could be done, a multi-trillion green infrastructure plan that could revolutionize the US if only you implement real taxation on the ultra wealthy (in addition to curbing barbaric societal problems like homelessness and child starvation). Literally nothing you just said on the private level would even have to change by much - the issue is that these 1%ers and top corporations aren't paying enough (or in some cases aren't paying anything at all) & it's just resulting in worse and worse levels of gross wealth inequality. You're completely missing the larger picture. Things are only going to get worse unless the core issue of wealth inequality is dealt with - the current system is totally unsustainable & will continue to just become more and more volatile over time, as COVID has already demonstrated for us.
