  1. Yep, the American people are still fucking children unfortunately. People want to act like the Democratic Party is this boiling pit of toxic waste, but most progressives forget that it was the people that made it that way by voting these spineless dried-up turds into office in the first place. Maybe I'd have more faith in a "New 3rd Party" if a majority of Americans didn't keep electing abominations like Manchin into the so-called "resistance party". For now, we have to be thankful the party's slowly getting purged of corporate Democrats in places like New York, Maryland, and the Rust Belt, and we have to only hope Bernie can overpower the party in 2020 to bring about change in a big way.

  2. Doug Jones was elected in by the blue African American vote in Alabama, and it's almost guaranteed none of them will vote for him a second time now that he's bowing down to the GOP and essentially GOP-Lite. It's not what his constituents voted for, he's so fucking incredibly stupid.
