Bernie was different, he was a grandpa who tried not to bring his personal life into politics to only focus on policy (ie "Not me, Us"). The one time I ever heard Bernie speak about his personal life at his hometown in Brooklyn was extremely moving though. The very basic story of talking about his mother dying before she could see her simple dream fulfilled to increase her standard of living enough to get out of her rent-controlled apartment, was surprisingly moving and heartbreaking, because it's a simple low-stakes story that hits so close to home with all of us in the working class.

The DNC delegates are such trash. You can tell by just looking at some of those people in the convention & seeing how they act, they have a huge lack of humanity
