@BenReillySpydr1962 Not hyperbolic at all. Groups of Leftists have been tearing apart Bernie for over 10 months now & blaming every little thing that's bad in 2020 on him. He's not running for president again & he's paved the way for Nina Turner (already endorsed her political campaign) & a growing movement & legacy so insinuating it's time to throw him in the trash is both disrespectful & getting old at this late date. Meanwhile Bernie is fighting in the Senate to make sure you & your family receive stimulus money & threatening all the other Senators that he'd keep them there throughout Christmas if they did not help workers. I was 100% in the fight when we had a "Not Me, Us" movement about banding together & looking out for one another (that was Bernie who did that), but this new 'fuck off' & 'fuck you' attitude with some Leftists is really pessimistic, confrontational, derisive, & obnoxious. Not to mention it's fracturing the Left & creating even more divisions among groups. I don't ever see us winning in the future if this is the type of politics people plan to champion going forward - & I don't think Nina Turner would approve either, considering she was one of the main proponents of Bernie's movement.

He was pushing for $1200 checks, while stating we should be getting $2,000 & trying to pass legislation for months calling for $2,000 checks per month. Also, he was nearly the only one pushing hard for workings to receive any stimulus checks at all in this last bill. Do you even listen to the news? Because you either sound incredibly uninformed or incredibly ungrateful for the one person fighting for your family's wellbeing.

@bonchidude Thanks, you're the perfect example of what I was just explaining to @Ben Reilly about this new brand of terrible politics among the Left that's destined to fail horribly.

@mindped & yet he's still fighting for the working class & money for you & your family. People will cry over "betrayal" because he backed Hillary over Trump & then Biden over Trump, but his record & overall legacy speaks for itself in the end.

why does it even matter? They've fought for the same things & Bernie paved the way for Nina. He's already endorsed her bid for Congress. Stop making this competitive between clear allies.

@jairogers5876 If it means policies over people, then stop making it an either/or scenario. They've been allies for nearly a decade now & are on the same side. Bernie's not gonna run for president again so why does it matter.

@BenReillySpydr1962 Nor do I, however giving credit to the politicians who got us this far is just a sign of common human decency. It does not mean you need to forget their mistakes but Bernie has basically given his life in the pursuit of real worker representation in America, something he fights for even now with Amazon unions & stimulus checks. It is not "idolization" to point these facts out. Also Bernie is not running again, so what does it even matter? This just seems like it's coming from a place of spite at this late date, especially since he's supporting Turner's future political prospects. Sanders himself has never cared about being a political idol, so denouncing him as such seems irrelevant, we're just saying you should give credit where credit's due & not be unnecessarily mean-spirited over a disappointing election cycle (for everyone) that ended nearly a year ago.

@BenReillySpydr1962 well I appreciate that you're at least being calm and rational on the topic. You're automatically one of the more rational people when you're not immediately making baseless claims about Sanders, Ro Khanna, the Squad, & the rest of our Left politicians in D.C. having bad intentions or being "frauds", "sold out", or somehow charlatans who don't believe in what they talk about on a regular basis. It's been a long year & too many leftists are losing their minds lately. I'll admit most of my ranting isn't entirely directed at you specifically.
