Yeah, everyone's sort of congratulating Trump just because he didn't start a war. A "step in the right direction" is one way of putting it, but the bar is so low for this guy, that we just take it for how it is when he doesn't colossally fuck it up like he's done with nearly everything else he's been a part of. He might've already fucked it up before these negotiations even started though because Iran personally messaged NK and told them they can't trust Trump for very rational reasons. A lot of us already called that one that him ripping up the Iran Deal would make any future negotiations like this essentially impossible especially since he did it right before the NK summit too.
