@Ir-of4zn I don't know about that. Cops and ex-cops get off scot-free all the time for stuff like this because there's not enough testimony to prove otherwise, even with the crime scene evidence. The fact that the charges kept on getting batted aside for so long is a sign that it's possible the case could've been thrown out entirely if not for the video showing exactly what happened. At the very least, the public support and community wouldn't have been there to ensure Ahmaud's killers eventually saw their day in court. Nothing like footage of a lynching to really drive the public to action.
