Now that Trump is out of office, I hope fed-up right-wingers begin to understand that. We NEED a General Strike & the populist Right (if there is such a group of voters) need to be apart of it. Economic issues need to be put front & center & social ones put on the backburner until this economic crisis is adverted.

A 3rd Party has literally no chance unless you do serious political campaign reform or transition to ranked choice voting. Sorry, but it's the truth, I wish it wasn't.

@rhsking05 Wow what wonderful disgusting & immature imagery targeted at the guy currently working to unionize Amazon workers & the only one who gives a damn about helping poor Americans in trouble. Grow the tf up dude.

This low-brow commentary is getting old & tedious. It's been nearly a year since the primary. Time to move tf on.

B Job Let's be realistic, it's not "half the democratic seats", it's more like 20-30, but more like 7-14 who are really there to stand up to corporate greed & the Dems. It's not much, but some of those people are the most popular & influential voices in the Dem Party. They need to all form a caucus & band together to formally oppose Conservative Democrats in the Party.

@fastd63 True, it's no where near "half the seats". There are about 20-30 real progressives & maybe 7-14 who are willing to stand up against the conservative Democrats. At least it's something though. A 3rd Party is a pure fantasy until we get ranked choice voting.

@theultimatereductionist7592 Those issues are not necessary (nor productive) when trying to initiate a general strike. The General Strike needs to be about totally bipartisan issues among workers to take back the money & people's tax dollars that was handed to corporations while the gov't left the people out to dry, or even an effort to give workers a seat at the table in Washington. It needs to be 100% about class struggle. I think Climate Change is an important issue too, but it's not conducive to bringing workers across the aisle & political spectrum together to protest the oligarchy & corrupt gov't.
