  1. Yeah, we've been on the "Survivor" Difficulty since the 1980s when corporations basically bought our government. At last we're finally able to break through in some capacity, even if it's not to the extent we would've wished.

  4.  @eydemarie2367  Never claimed to know you, just giving you the honest truth on the matter. Like I said, I wish things weren't this way, but they are. Do some research on just how much the system is rigged against all 3rd parties. I believe there are ~24 active 3rd parties in America right now & none of them hold any amount of political power in Washington.

  5.  @eydemarie2367  A 3rd Party will never happen. Wish it could, but it's about as likely as you getting struck by lightning as you're reading this now. Also, you seriously think the corruption stops at party lines? Not only is the system rigged against 3rd parties about 1000 times worse than it's rigged against populists or outsiders within the party primaries, but the harsh truth is that if the Greens or a hypothetical "People's Party" ever actually gained real electoral power, they would have the same threat of being co-opted by corporate pressure & be just as likely to grow accustomed to Washington corruption as anyone else. What matters is the individual, their message, and their commitment to putting people first. It matters far more that there is a growing trend for small dollar donors & everyday people to fund politicians' campaigns rather than any talk about starting a new 3rd party or even trying to gain more power for the Greens (and let's be honest, if you're dead serious about going 3rd Party, don't be stupid, go with the Greens, who have already spent 1-2 decades gaining the bare minimum to at least qualify to run in most state elections - starting over would be an extreme waste of time and is the WORST idea out of all the options to gain electoral victories).

  6.  @eydemarie2367  You'll be supporting that "movement" (if you can call it that) for a very long time. Nobody with even a slight understanding of the modern political landscape thinks that's an even remotely viable strategy. The people who have been shouting about a "People's Party" have been doing so for years & have literally done nothing towards it. The neoliberal corporate class would support legal weed & Nationalized Healthcare 100 years before a 3rd party gains any major foothold & by refusing the Green Party & starting from scratch, all you're doing is making it 120 years.
