It's hard to feel pride for anything when nearly everyone else is corrupt as all hell. The Democrats want to pretend that they're with Bernie, but when it came down to cornering the GOP on the $2,000 checks, 41 of the Dems voted with Mitch McConnell to let the stimulus checks die so they could vote on their $750 Billion bloated Defense bill.

@carladams9345 Lol are you trying to insinuate Joe Manchin is in any way better than a Republican? Not to mention Swearingen just tried to unseat the Rep Senator, Joe Manchin's primary is next & did you miss the part where he proposed a Stimulus Bill with NO stimulus checks for working families?

@carladams9345 I can name several Republicans off the top of my head that are already better than Joe Manchin, the guy who offered $0 stimulus help in a Stimulus Bill. The guy votes with Donald Trump nearly 70% of the time ffs.

He voted for Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, is one of the main reasons we have a 6-3 conservative Supreme Court, he votes with GOP on basically every crucial economic policy, & literally just struck a deal for $0 Stimulus Checks (worse than McConnell's offer) that proves my point entirely. You don't have legs to stand on in this argument & you simply just want to pretend that the most conservative member of the Democratic Party is somehow a vital member they can't lose. It's frankly pathetic that anyone would go to bat for Joe Manchin, especially when he goes on Fox News on a daily basis to talk about how great Trump is & shamelessly kisses his ass while attacking his own party. You don't know what you're talking about, or you're just an "Any Blue will Do" fool that simply follows politics for the emotional fulfillment & tribalism. I can't tell which it is, but the fact that you're taking swipes at Swearingen for trying to convince West Virginians they deserve better from their Senators & politicians makes me think it's the latter - the neoliberal types that get together, all hold hands & sing kumbaya & then talk about how better things aren't possible.
