  2.  Christian Chavarria  I can definitely tell you haven't seen the series. There is little reason for a 2nd season due to the way Watchmen ended, aside from maybe a completely new storyline with very little relation to season 1. Why exactly are you hating on it when you clearly haven't seen any of it? It seems pretty fucking stupid to do that & expend the effort when you haven't even given it a chance.

  3. By the end of the series, you realize the show is INCREDIBLY nuanced. You even have moments where you wonder whether the Ku Klux Klan (Cyclops) are in the right since they are revealed to be fighting for the truth (just as Rorschach was before he died), even if there is a dark & menacing undertone to their specific goals by the end. Angela's grandfather is revealed to be angry & immoral man who has let his revenge blind him to the well-being of even his own family. Nobody is untouchable in this show & all the characters have a touch of right & wrong to them. This idiot would've realized that if he would've watched past the first 45 minutes. Even in the first episode though, it's revealed there ARE problems with the supposed "utopia" society Ozymandias planned & you see that when a cop dies because he needs authorization before he can use his weapon & gets killed while waiting - but nah, people initially see black people as main characters & white people as bad guys & can't imagine if there is something more to the story that is not being told in the first few minutes.

  4. The show is objectively much more loyal to the comic than the movie, the difference is that the show doesn't follow the same storyline as the comic or movie, but is set decades in the future & deals with the aftermath of the Squid attack in the comic.

  5. I'm white & thought the show was prime Watchmen material. The comic was incredibly race charged, the people hating on the show after only watching 1 episode are pure reactionaries that are easily triggered. Anyone whose not a closed minded dumbass should just watch the rest of the show & they'll realize they jumped the gun on their opinions. This is coming from someone who personally thought Black Panther & Captain Marvel were bad movies, the backlash to this series is just unwarranted bullshit & this type of cultural reaction is just getting tiring at this point.

  8. Did you even watch all 9 episodes. The series comes together by the end & it was very apparent to me that the show was building up to something.

  12. Guy claims to be a fan of the comic, but then gets upset when the show doesn't hold his hand during the first 45 minutes of the series.
