@aaronlunnemann3857 80% of the benefits went to the top 1%. Your math is atrocious

@aerobique Not for the 99%. Just look at Ohio, Wisconsin and all the cities falling apart that don't even have clean water. Gov't should be ashamed.

@stephanieb.2861 Let them leave. They're leaving all their business interests in the US. You think the US is going to suffer without some rich assholes getting massive gov't handouts and bleeding the tax payers dry? Outsourcing is already taking place at record levels; we're already in the worst case scenario.

Prob because he's the only top tier candidate that wants to stop sending our young soldiers to die in the Middle East in endless wars. Also, he talks most about taking care of our soldiers, veterans, and teachers more than anyone. Likely why he trounces with veterans and teachers in supporter numbers.

Wallace literally just quoting CNN the whole time and pretending like a Clinton adviser is a reliable source. Didn't Hillary Clinton just attack Sanders like 5 times in a row for no reason?

He wants to raise your wages and give you healthcare. If you make less than $29,000 a year, your exempt from ALL income taxes regarding universal healthcare and if you're in the middle class, you would see huge net savings from eliminating all copays, premiums, and deductibles.

@williamlowe2046 To be accurate, he has higher numbers than Trump, but among Democratic candidates, he has higher numbers than the next 3 Dem candidates combined.
2
He's an Independent, so that would explain things.

C'mon, the natural disasters these past 2-3 years have been colossal. People are nearly always the reason forest fires start, but these fires in Australia have gotten much much harder to extinguish because the droughts have become worse and fire seasons have become longer. This last summer just broke a world record for hottest summer ever recorded as a global average. 99% of all scientists are telling us the rate that Climate Change is increasing is getting exponentially worse every year. You can't ignore this forever. The next massive hurricane, flood, wildfire, or natural disaster is just around the corner.

He means everyone outside that 1% that's been denied their representation in government for decades. You can see the DNC right now trying to discount voters and the working class from having a say in who represents them.

They're things he's stating he's going to pursue, he's never said that there's a 100% guarantee they'll get past Congress or even the courts. However, as president, you have a bigger chance of achieving these things more than anyone. I think one of the main reasons to vote for him is so he destroys the DNC & gets rid of insufferable Democrats like Pelosi who don't stand for anything. Also, it is very much within the president's power to end the massive amounts of outsourcing going on and also certain actions you can take to raise wages for workers by threatening to withhold gov't subsidies corporations receive as handouts for nothing.

He was a teacher, carpenter, Mayor, Congressman, Senator, and best-selling author. This talking point is one of the worst by far.
1
@Tetzukai Are you touched or something? He made money selling a book that was popular, hardly unheard of. He was a carpenter & teacher before he became Mayor, so saying he never had a job is beyond comical. That logic means all the Republicans in office don't have "real jobs" right now either & it means all the millions of writers in the US don't have "real jobs". And yes, he wants to raise taxes on the wealthy, which would effectively tax himself more, something he's clearly okay with in exchange for giving you and your family healthcare.

His platform isn't Socialism, it's Social Democracy. More importantly, it's simply just expanding the social programs we already have. Expanding "Medicare" to people 65 and under, while expanding public schooling to 4 more years that is offered in already publicly run universities and trade schools. I think the media seriously misinforms people by constantly labeling his platform as "Socialist" when the majority of his policies is just strengthening and expanding Social Security, Medicare, and public schooling.

@wheatandtares9764 Yeah but Chris Wallace and the Democratic elite are more adversarial to Bernie Sanders than even Trump and many Republicans, just like how the RNC and Republican Party tried to bury Trump in 2016 in the primary.
1
@13Hangfire It's a good thing he's not seen as a Democrat, people hate the Democratic Party. That's why Bernie wins Independents votes and even some conservatives who don't care about the labels.

@justiceleaguer9108 Hannity is a joke. He should go on Tucker Carlson, who is at least a paleo-conservative and agrees with Bernie on how the elites in D.C. are rigging the system in their favor and how we need to empower the working class (though they disagree on the solutions).
