I don't know, Trump is hitting all the populist notes that made him president in 2016. He might actually win the primary (and then 99% lose the general).

@PBAJ10 Yeah, but if it's looking like he's dominating with voters in the primary even the GOP donors will have no choice but to back just like in 2016. You gotta remember most of the Republicans thought he was toxic at the beginning of the 2016 primary, but his constant wins in the election won him support little by little.

Those are excellent policies that Trump will objectively never do. He had 4 years and a Super Majority to do anything even close to something like this

@celmart0413 Cortez literally started in the House in 2019, she would be one of the last people effected by term limits. The longest serving members currently are Patrick Leahy (D), Chuck Grassley (R) and McConnell (R), Steney Hoyer (D), Chris Smith (R), and Hal Rogers (R), all serving for more than 37 years. So right off the bat, you'd be kicking out 2x more Republicans than Democrats depending on the cutoff.
