  1. Oh no, I might have to give away 50% of my wealth (taxed on every dollar over $5 million dollars), so instead of making $100 million, I go home with $55 million. That poor person who ONLY makes $55 million, enough to buy 20 mansions and supercars. What a convincing argument to not ever want to make millions of dollars. Is this seriously your best argument on a higher tax rate on people like Jeff Bezos who is the richest man in the world yet still pays less of a percentage in taxes than his secretary.
