  1. To be fair, I think the 'occupying houses' comment was just meant to be an attention grabber so people would pay attention (in that case it seemed to work). She did try to clarify that her main goal was to shine a light on the issue and how BlackRock and foreign Chinese investors buy up American property and just sit on it (or rent it out for extremely inflated prices). I've been looking for a house for a year, and I can tell you some of the problems she's pointing out are extremely alarming.

  2. I think the primary problem here is the housing crisis she's addressing. I don't really agree with her points either, but I think the problem she's shining attention on is absolutely something that needs to be addressed.
