  1. I had this happen for the first time last year at my old apartment, where a pair of shoes and a brand new video game console got stolen off my front doorstep. It definitely feels like someone violated your home and personal life. What's worse is that I was almost certain it was my next door neighbor that stole the stuff because I was situated in a very private location that only my neighbor and I shared (and nobody else in the complex had their packages getting stolen).
