  15.  @JazzATrain  Ah yes, Israel is indeed the tallest kid in kindergarten when it comes to a democratic electorate in the Middle East, unfortunately this is tainted by dark undertones of only allowing certain people to vote based on their ethnicity - most Palestinians who take up residence in Israel are not given full rights in general, this is what we call an apartheid system. Here in America we had a form of this back before the early 1960s that oppressed black people who had family that were former slaves & simply based on the color of their skin, we called it Jim Crow - I'd be infinitely disappointed and shameful of my country if Jim Crow was still ongoing today (and we still have to speak out against the economic injustices of what some coin "New Jim Crow"), but thankfully we have Martin Luther King Jr. Day instead and we learn about the Civil Rights Movement in school - can't imagine being your sad excuse for a country that still practices these barbaric forms of oppression against an entire race and ethnicity of people.

At most Mandela was a democratic socialist, but on that note so was Albert Einstein, George Orwell and countless other geniuses in the last 2 centuries - it's really not the sick burn you think it is.
