Buttigieg would get absolutely demolished by Trump. I can't believe his supporter seriously believe Little Boy Pete could actually use his platitudes to defeat Trump.

@mjc42701 If a black man could become president, I'm confident the right gay or female person could also become president. In Pete's case, it has nothing to do with that. People don't like him because he's an empty suit elitist in an age of populism on both sides. He literally just had a fundraiser in a wine cave, and even though Trump is also somewhat of an elitist with his gold toilet and Dad's money, he would turn the elitism narrative on Pete so fast. It would be the Hillary debates on steroids.

You think Trump is helping the US become a serious geopolitical leader? That's hilarious. He embarrasses our country every time he goes to an international conference. Also, he's made the US's main priority picking fights with small middle east countries, turning the rest of the world against us, and destroying trade negotiations through his dumbass tariffs that accomplish nothing. Meanwhile "China" is using smart strategy to expand in a number of ways faster than the US could dream of. Is China picking petulant fights with random countries? No, they're dominating through smart alliances and deals with other countries where they want their resources but make deals to develop their countries for the same types of resources the US gets by engaging in 18 year long never-ending wars that end up costing tens of Trillions of dollars anyways. The US ways of geopolitical dominance are dying out FAST and Trump's the sign that our empire is collapsing faster than anyone thought possible.

@amadexi China's been becoming the leader for a long time. The only thing Trump is doing is reassuring the rest of the world that America is no longer to be counted upon and should no longer lead the international community. The only thing America has anymore is the largest army since we spend all our money on it while our citizens have no healthcare.

@mjc42701 Also, I actually think a gay person could win the presidency by just not talking about it and especially not advertising it (making it not much of a topic). However, Pete has been playing the gay card like crazy and it would be impossible to ignore in the general after he's been advertising himself as a gay man this whole time and literally getting into specifics like how the first lady would be a "first man". He's so fucking stupid if he thinks this would help him win.

In Q1, only 13.2% of Trump's $30M financing haul came from donations <$200. I couldn't find the info on his other quarters.

@russellleighton9993 Do have a source that shows this? The few things I've seen say that Trump gets a lot of money from individual contributors but far more from big money donors. In a lot of these cases you also have big money bundlers, which Trump also uses. Bernie gets over 70% of his money from small dollar contributions, in some quarters getting over 75%.

Pretty much. Once the nominee is picked, the fundraising AGAINST Trump will likely be far larger than the fundraising for him. Hate is much stronger than blind loyalty
