It seems like Twitter is compensating for the fact that they're the only ones who didn't ban Alex Jones. It doesn't make any sense why they would ban someone for satire and keep Alex Jones there, and it appears that they're the only company actually going out of their way to ban other people besides InfoWars.

This has already been happening for years. Kyle is blowing this out of proportion because he's obsessed with Alex Jones. Go look up the number of people Twitter has banned over the years. This is absolutely nothing new. The only reason Alex Jones was big news was because all the platforms banned him back to back in a chain reaction.

People have been getting banned for "racist tweets" for years now. This is nothing new people.

Why the fuck is Kyle acting like this is the first time people have ever been banned from social media? I don't understand this shit, this is absolutely nothing new especially for Twitter. 2011 - Courtney Love gets banned from Twitter 2015 - George Zimmerman banned from Twitter 2015 - Chuck Johnson (alt-right blogger) banned from Twitter claiming he was banned for political views and violating his right to free speech 2016 - Robert Stacy McCain (anti-feminist writer) banned from Twitter 2016 - Milo Yiannopoulos banned from Twitter for inciting violence against Leslie Jones 2016 - David Duke banned from Twitter (for association of Unite the Right rally) 2016 - Azealia Banks (rapper) banned from Twitter 2016 - Tila Tequila banned 2016 - Richard Spencer banned 2017 - Martin Shkreli banned 2017 - Roger Stone banned for harassment of CNN journalists 2017 - Talib Kweli banned 2017 - Paul Golding and Jayda Fransen (of Britain First) banned 2017 - Jared Taylor and American Renaissance, Michael Hill and League of the South, Traditionalist Worker Party (all white nationalists) 2018, Feb 13th - Paul Nehlen banned for racist tweet 2018, March 28th - Tommy Robinson banned for "hateful content" 2018, April 5th - Owen Benjamin (comedian) banned for "offensive tweets" directed at David Hogg I'm just saying, stop pretending like this is a 'new thing' and we've "opened the floodgates". This is nothing new Kyle, you're just pretending like it is.

Hey you all realize we live in a free society and a free market where other tech platforms can overtake twitter if people are fed up with it enough. Twitter has only existed for a few years now yet you all are talking about it like it was invented in the 1800s by Thomas Edison. In addition, Twitter still has Alex Jones on their site and I would guess they're compensating for keeping his account active.

It sounds like Twitter is just compensating for the fact that they're the only ones who didn't pull Alex Jones. The whole TJ thing is clearly a fuck up though and only an idiot would see that tweet and think it wasn't satire.

Squabble Bot - I agree. Even Alex Jones, who was banned from all his platforms besides Twitter is still making new content on his own shitty-made app and website. Is his voice really "censored" if he's still developing new content for an audience that listens to him? The whole "make these companies public utilities" thing is retarded. We would have to make every website everywhere public and that's just ridiculously unrealistic.
2
To be fair, this was exclusively Twitter who has refused to ban Alex Jones. Likely why they're going out of their way to prove they "care".
2
We don't even have public Internet access yet and you're talking about making these companies "public utilities"? Kyle, that makes NO fucking sense. This is BY FAR, the most ridiculous point you've EVER made.

+Rachel Easton - The people who "set up the automation" designed the machine learning software to analyze big data and pick out content that likely was focused towards persons violating their terms and services agreement. People explain this all the time. Just because a piece of software or algorithm "discriminates" against women doesn't mean the software developers were sexist, it just means that their machine learning program analyzed trends that geared towards a pay gap between men and women and then ran the algorithms according to that data. Thinking that the government can somehow do better than these companies is ridiculous considering they couldn't even get healthcare.gov to work for a long time.

+Who Pooped the Pudding - You know you can easily go look up the fact that he's right, but you clearly have no desire to educate yourself in the slightest.

I find it really strange that you're giving this issue so much attention when I didn't hear jack shit from you when it came to FOSTA/SESTA, which actually censors people and prohibits sex workers from doing their jobs safely. Meanwhile, you have Alex Jones with his own app and still screaming on twitter, and there's no actual laws against these people. If people don't like the way Twitter polices, then a new website can come along and dethrone it that's how the free market works. However, when Washington writes laws that literally makes pimps relevant again in a modern society and I don't see anyone talk about that. Everyone's on twitter though, so this story becomes so "important" to all of you. Fuck Twitter and Fuck social media. You all care about it way too much while people are actually put in danger from FOSTA and SESTA laws that shut down half of Craigslist and barely got any attention from MSM or Independent media.

+Confident Lime - I don't think you know what a "bot" is. Bots are strictly pieces of code that work as a user response in a chat that are used for simulating one side of a conversation such as in this comment section. What you're referring to is Youtube's algorithms they have called the "search and discovery system", which involve crawlers and searching/sorting algorithms that handle the big data in their system and overall database of videos.
