  1. Every time I move in Portland, I'm in a new congressional district. Now I'm in the 5th with Kurt Schrader. Guy's okay, but he doesn't support Medicare for All compared to the reps in 1st, 3rd, and 4th who all support HR-679, and he's not particularly great on the environment minus some funding for looking into wave energy. Only politician in this state I actually genuinely like is Jeff Merkley, who was the only person in the Senate to endorse Bernie in 2016.

  2. Things are changing. Democrats are going to have to bend over for their voters or they won't last long especially with a 2020 Bernie Sanders presidency bringing out progressive voters in droves.
