@noel3830 Wrong, Bernie wants to pull out and has the wits to plan a withdrawal that doesn't inadvertently lead to an ethnic cleansing.

@mmartinisgreat The guy's full of shit. This is from Bernie's own site on foreign policy: "Bernie supports a strategic withdrawal of US troops from the Middle East in coordination with other countries involved in the region. Bernie called President Trump’s announcement that he planned on removing troops from Syria “abrupt” and “typical of his reckless approach.” Bernie believes Congress must play a role in creating a plan to effectively withdraw troops from the region." In terms of Assad, this is what it says: "Bernie has condemned Assad as a “horrendous dictator who has been at war with his own people”. However, Bernie does not support unilateral action to remove Assad from power in Syria. Instead, he supports diplomatic actions to encourage countries like Iran and Russia to withdraw their support for Assad." In other words, in no way does he support "overthrowing Assad" and is not even calling for sanctions or anything near that type of language he used.

@edwuncleriii1922 Except Bernie actually wants to get out, Trump only wants the appearance of getting out. Bernie actually wants to HELP the working class, Trump only wants the illusion of helping the working class while fucking them over behind closed doors.

@عمرحليله-خ7ع Total Bullshit and lies. You don't even to bother to look up what he supports in terms of Syria.

@عمرحليله-خ7ع For fucks sake, in that same video he says "we cannot work unilaterally, we have to work with countries around the world to find a political solution." Let's compare that to the position on the site I just gave: "Bernie does not support unilateral action to remove Assad from power in Syria. Instead, he supports diplomatic actions to encourage countries like Iran and Russia to withdraw their support for Assad." I rest my case, you're acting like a reactionary moron who can't understand the difference between military-backed coups versus working with allies and and the U.N. to place political pressure on countries and dictators violating international law. Somehow I very much doubt you would make this same exact argument for Netanyahu and the Israeli government who are constantly "cutting the grass" by killing thousands of Palestinians in precision missile strikes. I very much DOUBT you would be making this same argument against placing political pressure on dictators like MBS in Saudi Arabia who chopped up a journalist who was a US resident. This is just getting pathetic to listen to.

@edwuncleriii1922 93,000 jobs were outsourced after Trump's first year in office, and after his tax bill (that incentivized outsourcing), that number has only grown larger. https://inhomelandsecurity.com/outsourcing-trump-administration/

Zac Lodro Big LOL at you claiming Bernie Sanders, the most honest and consistent guy in D.C., is talking in "code" when he calls for a withdrawal in coordination with our allies. Yes because clearly an "unstrategic withdrawal" is the best option, given the fact that Trump just green-lit a mass murder this past week with Erdogan and we're not even out of Syria. You're both so fucking full of it. You'd have to be biased beyond belief and reactionary as fuck to read those comments and think Bernie is 'pro-war' or not in favor of pulling out.

Zac Lodro It's called abiding by the Constitution genius. Something Kyle talks about all the time on this show and how we need to take power away from the president to wage illegal wars and give war power back to Congress. It's literally what Bernie utilized with the War Powers Act (with Rand Paul) to end the US-backed war in Yemen. To claim that's unimportant or doesn't work is highly ignorant to US law and our Constitution.

@edwuncleriii1922 "hundreds of thousands more". You got a source for that? Because I highly highly doubt it.

Even a lot of people in this audience were defending Trump because they had such a knee jerk reaction to pulling out of Syria. Well, he's NOT GETTING OUT OF SYRIA. You heard it RIGHT THERE folks. Any troops he did pull out of Syria, he moved to Southern Syria and/or Iraq to do operations IN Syria.

THANK YOU KYLE! I've been saying this since this first happened! Trump is making troop movements, he is NOT withdrawing SHIT. It drives me crazy seeing even self-proclaimed progressives defending Trump for doing something he DIDN'T DO.
