Bernie has the ability and iconic power to energize the masses and use sheer people power to push things through government like a raised living wage, Medicare for All, and generally dragging the Overton Window kicking and screaming to the Left. Bernie likely only has one more term where he can realistically be president, let's not waste it, we've already seen the impact he can have on the country when he's simply just running an a Dem primary.

Matthew Jamison Yes, and they would almost certainly like Bernie too if not for the strawmanning by Fox hosts and Trump himself on "Socialism". Imagine if Bernie went on Fox, was allowed to speak, and all the viewers had never even heard of him before. Tulsi still has very little name recognition outside progressive circles, so we are basically seeing what that would look like with her.
