  1. That is the underlying problem, but it makes things far worse when we end our involvement in the worst way possible. In terms of Trump though, just staying away is about the best option right now unfortunately. People telling Trump to go back in is about the worst idea imaginable, because he would just fuck things up 100x worse if determined to go on an offense.

  2.  @Baraka_Obama_  The optics are extremely bad for winning votes, however, he's doing far better than just throwing a temper tantrum on stage though, he released an anti-corruption bill that would permanently cut the legs off the DNC for good. Nobody but Bernie has done that.

There are videos coming out with Kurds getting executed on their knees, while women and children flee the region. Don't get so wrapped up in pulling out the region (just that region) that you take the stance of shrugging that stuff off.

Exactly, Trump made a troop movement at best from Northern Syria to Southern Syria or Northern Syria to Saudi Arabia, it's equally frustrating to see people acting like Trump is anti-war now when all he did was green-light a genocide over his own incompetence (or made a deal with Erdogan). Also, pretty sure Bernie would've pulled us out of Syria and actually made a U.N. deal to fill the vacuum. He doesn't want us in these wars, but he's equally empathetic over not starting a genocide, his family was literally wiped out by Nazi barbarism. Arguing over not wanting a genocide and that we should've pulled out differently is not a bad thing imo. Most people won't recognize this but the idea of the Kurds being mass murdered is extremely bad historical optics, considering the Ottoman Empire committed a genocide on them 100 years ago during the Armenian genocide when they massacred the Armenians and Kurds together. That would be like if Germany invaded Poland again in 2019 and committed an ethnic cleansing.

  7. With the addition of AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and now Michael Moore, they're going to be able to debunk the whole media BS of "Bernie and Warren are the same" a lot better than before. Those are 4 more powerful voices on MSM that can make that case, the media CAN'T ignore, and will enlist people for the movement and revolution.
