Why don't you actually talk about the substance of his argument. You're just defending him for the act alone of "being loud towards AOC" - that's not a reasonable argument on your part. Kyle criticized the protestor because his logic was fundamentally flawed and from the way this guy is talking, you'd think Ukraine were the ones doing an illegal invasion of Russia.

Did you even watch the video? He addressed nearly every point the guy made and broke down why his logic is fundamentally flawed. Out of all the things he could've gone after AOC for, he attacks her for voting to give Ukraine aid because they're under an illegal invasion and threat of being consumed by Russia. It's not even a controversial point, it only makes sense from this guy's own weird political bubble where you think Russia is only defending itself against NATO and Ukraine should just disarm and let Russia have everything they want (literally a point Tulsi Gabbard has made before).

The guy literally mentions Tulsi twice as if she's some brave warrior for justice by leaving the Democrats to support MAGA extremists. Also the majority the focus from what I saw was breaking down this guy's arguments, not sure what you watched.

Kyle was against the invasion of Iraq back in the 2000s and he's now against the invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Love to hear the details on how you think his foreign policy has changed. Sounds like you're the one excusing/ignoring imperialism.

"The US is prolong the war by aiding Ukraine" - you realize the alternative to that is to not aid Ukraine so Russia can fully occupy and illegally annex a sovereign European country. I'm sure you agree with Tulsi's past stance that Ukraine should disarm themselves and just let Russia consume them, but that's not a reasonable position whatsoever.

@danielshepard2315 I support sending aid to all those countries. If you're voting on an aid package as a Congressperson, most of the time you don't get to pick and choose which specific parts you support. This is why using AOC as a target for this protest is just kinda dumb, just like using Van Gogh for climate activism was dumb. She's not writing the bills for the aid packages and she's definitely not making the decisions the Biden administration is regarding the US's level of involvement. Honestly, I would vote for most aid packages to desperate countries if they included food, medicine, & help for citizens to survive, but yes if there was a standalone bill to send arms to Yemen for them to defend themselves (without all the other aid), I probably wouldn't vote for it on principle, but I also wouldn't demonize the people that did vote for it, because at the end of the day, it's meant for defense not aggression - that's not an unsympathetic cause, yet you act like it is and heap on hyperbole about nuclear armageddon to boot. Russia invaded Crimea 8 years ago, yet they're now at it again. You really think if Russia annexes more parts of Ukraine today, everything's going to be fine down the road? Russia already broke a treaty between themselves and Ukraine, so it's just foolish to think bending over would solve anything in the long term.

@cormoran2303 This isn't "anti-war" it's just gaslighting the situation as if the Russians aren't doing an offensive illegal invasion and all the Ukrainians should just agree to lay down their arms and give Russia everything they want (literally what Tulsi has advocated for - for Ukraine's disarmament).

Russia's invading Ukraine in large part now because they have large shale oil reserves & are threatening to become a 2nd European petro state, yet you seem to have no nuanced opinion or acknowledgement whatsoever about Russia's own imperialist intentions & ACTIONS in their own illegal offensive invasion. It's just "NATO started this years ago" even though there are numerous variables for this conflict & I'll tell you right now "Nazis in Ukraine" does not even make the damn list, yet people like you keep bringing it up as if it makes invading another country perfectly okay or rational even. The war in Ukraine IS dangerous and should be negotiated to end it, but giving in to the demands of an authoritarian regime (with clear imperialist ambitions) doing an illegal invasion is also dangerous as history has taught us time and time again. This guy brings up Tulsi Gabbard multiple times, but her position in the past has literally been the "disarmament" of Ukraine followed by them bending over - imagine if someone said that to America if America was being invaded and their sovereignty was under threat. And from the way this protestor talks, you'd think Ukraine were the ones that invaded Russia. You also act like Russia and the West haven't been in a "proxy war" for almost a century and this is some new thing - I believe they called it the "Cold War". All that aside, if this guy wants a peace negotiation, AOC is beyond a poor target for his yelling. Her part in all this is narrowed down to voting FOR or AGAINST aid packages to Ukraine. She doesn't even write the bills, so it actually just seems like this guy has AOC derangement syndrome or something, when there are legitimate criticisms of AOC to actually make & I wish someone less tone deaf & idiotic WOULD make at her town halls.

Russia is the country doing the illegal invasion of Ukraine, firing missiles at playgrounds & overall the primary aggressors, so arguing against any aid whatsoever and calling it "pro-war" is just absurd. The statement that AOC "is sending weapons to Nazis" is absurd and completely gaslighting the circumstances of the war. Not to mention AOC is a poor target for this outrage, since her part in any stated escalations is incredibly small and her decisions are narrowed down to voting for Congressional packages that either send aid to Ukraine or don't send aid. Last time I checked, she wasn't even involved in writing any of the bills for Ukrainian aid. This guy seems to just have a hate boner for AOC for other reasons, but sees an opportunity to just yell at her for something she's only nominally involved in.

Saw some pro-Israel right-wingers (maybe Tulsi's new demographic) on Twitter calling AOC a hypocrite for voting for Ukrainian aid packages, but voting against funding the Iron Dome in Israel. People acting like Palestine is invading Israel or even an actual threat, when they're the ones in an open air prison by Israel's hand. The two aren't comparable in the slightest when Ukraine is actually under threat of being consumed by the Russian Federation & losing its independence. What would be comparable is if you voted to fund Russia's defenses while they're doing an illegal invasion, just as Israel has been doing for decades with their illegal occupations.
