@Beelzeboogie They're talking about on the front lawn. Police all but opened the gate and let them walk onto the property, there's video of it. They less surprisingly stopped short of handing them the keys though, so yeah they had to break their way in and when they did, they finally got solid pushback from mainly secret service and guards tasked with protecting Congress members. The rioters weren't successfully stopped until they were a door/broken window away from actually getting to Congress members though, which kind of says a lot about how they were able to get that far to begin with. One of the rioters was shot when they were trying to jump through a broken window leading into a lobby with around 80 Congress members & staffers, which shows you how long they were tolerated and allowed to do what they pleased until they were shown deadly force - & far right conservatives (including Trump himself) of course are still playing the victim over that one person who was shot and consider them a hero and martyr as they consciously trespassed and threated the lives of federal Congress people. A group of black people or leftists with black masks would've been opened fire on before they even got to the front lawn. It's incredibly hard to ignore the comparisons in police tolerance (or in Jan 6th case, indifference) between the Jan 6th rioters/insurrectionists vs BLM rioters.

@MuhammadSharii Said no one ever.. Police only make shit worse or are completely useless when it matters from my experience.
