  2. Kyle is presenting this as a false dichotomy. Either you're pro-war and against the Kurds slaughter vs you're anti-war and the Kurds can fend for themselves. It's not that simple, and the cherry on top is that Trump never withdrew from Syria, we're still there, he just moved the troops from one region to another as to green-light a slaughter of the Kurds. Women and children are having to flea their homes in fear of an ethnic cleansing, and again I want to stress (because Kyle hasn't) that we're STILL IN SYRIA.

You're right, the View is just going to be pro-war no matter what, but that doesn't excuse the fact that Rand Paul is deflecting and ignoring how Trump moved the troops (we're still in Syria) so the Kurds could get slaughtered, instead of making a deal with Syria, Turkey, or the U.N. to stop more bloodshed.

He only "withdrew" (moved) the ones we had in a region where they were literally stopping a humanitarian crisis from happening. This is the issue that nobody is acknowledging. Trump constantly acts like he's anti-war, but that's the biggest lie of all. If that were even remotely the case, he would've actually withdrew from Syria, but instead he just moved some troops to enable a genocide and pretended like it was a withdrawal from Syria.

That's his main argument right now, trying to swear up and down he wants to get us out of the Middle East, all the while leaving thousands of troops in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, he hasn't withdrawn from any country, and continually threatens to start a war with Iran and regime change in Venezuela.

You're presenting this as a false dichotomy by hoisting up this clip, where NOBODY, neither side, is even acknowledging the fact that Trump never pulled out of Syria, we're still there. This was a troop movement, AT BEST, so that Erdogan would get the green-light to invade Syria and commit an ethnic cleansing of the Kurds. I don't give a shit who the Kurds are, you don't allow ethnic cleansing to happen if you can help it, and the obvious choice was to make a deal with Turkey, the Syrian gov't, or the U.N. to stop such atrocities. Really disappointed in this framing.
